Thanks "D", bunches...:)
QTgillie (Mar 9, 2008)
OKAY, I don't want to see any more of these draws.....only makes me pine for grandmothering.....which may never come.....boo hoo! This is very tender and touching.
STARZSHINE (Mar 9, 2008)
simply precious, your style lends well to the feel of this. lovely soft and delicate. :D
enjoydotcom (Mar 12, 2008)
You finished this one up beautifully! The hand is done very good if you ask me.

Yes Sweetcell....thirty one minutes of pure perfection!!
Sweetcell (Mar 11, 2008)
Honey, I'm not trying to be a bitch or a perfectionist but I'm sorry, if your just doodling like this that's what begginer's for. You have pieces that belong here but if your just sketching please put it in begginers. Advanced is Advanced for a reason.

Worked on this now....not just a doodle now, but then again, it never really was!

The yellow splodge on his jacked is a nice detail.
I like your two latest graphical works...pretty neat style.
Sweetcell (Mar 9, 2008)
I just love your vector art, poster art, whatever you want to call it. It's so refreshing to see. I took advertsing art for 3 years and these kinds of designs would be popular on t-shirts.
QTgillie (Mar 9, 2008)
very nice and stylistic!!
thetailorsdaughter86 (Mar 10, 2008)
i (heart) the white stripes. this is wonderful! that's my favorite line from icky thump for sure. "kick yourself out you're an immigrant too!" extremely graphic. i love it!

Looks awesome, almost like a dream
Sweetcell (Mar 8, 2008)
I like this but it looks unfinished. The scribbly lines (especially on the face) look like a preliminary sketch and the thing looks imcomplete.
QTgillie (Mar 8, 2008)
Sweetcell...thanks for the critique but the scribble lines are very close to the ref. pic, did you look at it?
STARZSHINE (Mar 9, 2008)
love this Laura, I may have this same lady, but with a different pose. I just love the Carnivale of Venice, and I have tons of pics that I want to do when I get brave enough, lol. Some are quite intricate and I may just do them a bit at a time. Love the colors and the playfulness this has. One day I would love to go and witness this festival for myself. ah one can only dream, in the meantime we can draw and paint and make us believe we are there...:D

Lost for so long?

Lyrics by Evanescence, from their song Tourniquet. ^^
Gonna come back and edit it later - unfortunatly, I was stupid enough not to install the JTablet plugin, and had no pressure sensitivity. Ah, well - so far its going along good, right? ^^
Later I'll probably add a body, and maybe define the hair better, so its easier to figure out where one part starts and the other ends..

You you like it, both now and when its finished! :D

Still not as good as I'd like it to be, but here it is. I'm not entirely sure I wont edit it in the future, knowing that I'll probably look back at it a week from now and notice something out of proportion, but for now I'll just say this is finished and be done for a few minutes. :D

do you remember me
lost for so long
will you be on the other side
or will you forget me?

She's having her doubts, and tries to run from this hellish situation - but something always stops her.
Here she's turning on her heel, just stopped from the run.

Perhaps a new or old OC - who knows until the cookie crumbles, leaving half of the chocolate chips smeared on your new shirt?

Hope you guys like it! ^___^
Skrog (Mar 9, 2008)
this is looking sick, love the black and white. I do stuff like this all the time, so it's cool to see someone else's approach to it.
davincipoppalag (Mar 9, 2008)
This looks terrific
QTgillie (Mar 9, 2008)
composition technique and execution are all great. The contrasts are wonderful....I love black and white art.

If you look at this one way it's one face looking to our left, another way there's a second partial profile looking at the first face from the left to the right and very close. Looking another time there's a face in the middle looking to the right . I guess I shouldn't have tried all that stuff in the 60s eh?
lori (Mar 9, 2008)
looks like a melting ice sculpture
Sweetcell (Mar 9, 2008)
I got this vision of Metropolis and other old sci-fi shows. Such a cool robot (what I see)
QTgillie (Mar 9, 2008)
this is very unique and well done....the entire concept. LOL....Davinci.....I saw all that stuff also, glad it was not just me!

Another "colored pencil approach". I work in them in real life, this is great to work up ideas for works on paper!!

Very nice work here, I really like the details on this.
Meno (Mar 7, 2008)
Charming, charming, and - did I mention? - charming!
QTgillie (edited Mar 8, 2008)
Hey, I did not know you were here. I love all of your stuff. Would love to see you do some more. Sketchfu has gotten boring for me, I am afraid. I have also made an enemy here and not sure how to fix it. She (sweetcell) is really pissed at me. I only memo'd her that I did not appreciate her nit picky comments. Ouch...I got a mouthful back. Now I see she is a top dog her....oh.....woe is me. Something came over me and possessed me, I swear! Miss seeing you...how is your back? Come visit.

I think this one, your anime or what ever you call those and your nude are my favorite.
Sweetcell (Mar 9, 2008)
I'm top dog? When did that happen? I must have lost the memo from Marcello the owner.

As for Gerry she doesn't draw here anymore.

Hmmmm top dog. I think I'll make that into a T-shirt.

Hey Fuzzy. Welcome to 2Draw. Starzshine, Gel-0 and QTgillie are also here. Wow, that's an amazing fly. I look forward to seeing more of your drawings.
gel_o (Mar 6, 2008)
Hey Fuzzy and yes, welcome to 2draw. This is a very good first pic here on this website and think you should be submitting on Intermediate instead of Beginner. You are very talented and this is great so keep them coming!
Sweetcell (Mar 7, 2008)
People begin in begginers to get used to the appelet's, it's what's reccommended. The talent's there for sure though.
STARZSHINE (Mar 8, 2008)
Hey fuzzy, welcome! missed your work, but now I can see it here! wonderful as always can't wait til I see more! I am so happy you joined the "dark side" lol, :D
