Jtablet for Mac OS X - testers needed
marcello (Jul 7, 2007)
Hey All, I'm doing some initial prototyping of a mac version of JTablet and am looking for alpha testers. If you are interested in testing this out, drop a message here or memo me with: - what kind of mac you have: model and version of OS X--good to know if you have an intel mac or not, too, - what version of Java you have installed (you can check in the lascaux sketch info box), - and what web browsers/versions you have installed (and use). Some slight advanced knowledge of using a ...

Of course not, I'm wearing knee high tube socks, the kind with the red white and blue bands around the top.

You make smoking look cool, AND drawing.
Love the light contours of the window curtain and the delicate glow from under it. Beautiful work...

Wow, thanks! I didn't expect such a response - thanks, guys :)

Sweetcell, ever read the Princess Bride (book, not the movie)?
" "ANd I," Buttercup said. "I," she repeated, standing up in the saddle, a creature of infinite beauty and eyes that were starting to grow frightening, "I," she said for the third and last time, "am the QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEN." "
Sweetcell (May 22, 2007)
The movie yes, the book no. If I find it at the Library I'll be sure to pick it up.

"Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam..."

This is so pretty~ I love how you mixed the blues into it. And the coloring style is so paint-like :)

Also, I've never read the book, but the Princess Bride movie is one of my all time favorites. As you wish!

Miracle Max: Get back, witch.
Valerie: I'm not a witch, I'm your wife. But after what you just said, I'm not even sure I want to be that any more!

Whee!

I love how at the top of the picture its so bright and at the bottom it's so dark. Great contrast!
Roytje (Jun 9, 2007)
Thank you :)
Yes, I used a reference, but I've no idea where he is...

That lighting effect you have of the sunflare behind the leafs. I envy your masterfull blending and lighting effects. So smoothe and suttle.

When you move like a jellyfish
Rhythm don't mean nothing
You go with the flow
You don't stop
Move like a jellyfish
Rhythm is nothing

I KNOW this isn't a jellyfish, but I was listening to this song and looking at this, so...yeah.

Childlike_Vampire (May 17, 2007)
Well, the face is absolutely great. I'm not so sure about the rest of it...especially her arm...seems as though you didn't really give a crap after you finished the face.
7Studios (May 17, 2007)
I'd do some more work on it if I can get it unlocked. I felt pressured to finish it last night because I knew I was going to go over the file size limit. By 4:30 am (knowing I had to get up at 7 for work) I compromised and submitted it as "good enough".

I'll probably request more space for it, though, to get it to where it needs to be.

LOVE those lips. Love 'em. Want them for myself.

Not sure why I'm not using the word "I".

I love the pencil look of this, and if you're doing this without ref: applause applause.
It makes me wanna do a nude too, Ghe ghe... but I'm no good without refs, maybe gonna do myself. Hope that doesn't sound sick...
HunterKiller_ (edited May 20, 2007)
Cindy: You're too kind, Cindy. =)
Sweetcell: Not me what?
Enjoy:
maybe gonna do myself.
LOL! It's ok, we all do ourselves sometimes. ;)
Pseudonymous (May 22, 2007)
Good job. If it's supposed to be somewhat cartoonish, I think it's perfect. If you're going for realism, I'd give a few tips but I like it the way it is.

I gave his face the caricature treatment. I see a little Samuel L. Jackson in this face. This drawing is for enjoydotcom.

I had to close the applet and submit the image so I can go to sleep...
I'd still really like to work on the hair and do a proper background only it's already 1.9mb and I feel bad asking for even more space...

Where did you get your hands on a Beatle's wig? :)

This ended up lovely Giselle. The colors make you look so fresh and healthy and my God, I love that shirt. And that is a hard angle to draw. Extra Kudo's all around. It's just beautiful and really deserves to be in Advanced.
Anna (May 20, 2007)
HOT DAMN, GISELLE! I looooove this. You are great, ma'am!
