This is my first attempt at actually drawing, something im usless at next to singing,!!! its Meant 2 be John Lennon but...that could be negotiable as i ried 2 copy a pic i found of the net of him and my free hand sux! anyway......TACO!!!

Lol, I've seen that pic, I've got the one of George on my desktop. Looks pretty close dude...Use blur or antialias and it'll smooth out the lines and it'll look better. VSM!

This is nice and i know you said it's john lennon but it reminds me of jackie chan a little. I'm not sure why but that is who comes to mind. its still a great draw though. |

His head is way too small and his arms are too short but you've done a great job on the rest of it. Very good shading.i think i want to get this set back to unfinished and take it in another direction....

anyone whos on livejournal ever see this community? i think its a really interesting idea. every week or so they post a new picture and the members of the community can draw and post pictures, all of the same original figure. its interesting to compare how different people view/draw the same image differently. wonder if we tried that on here if anyone would want to participate? ive always wanted to re-draw some other peoples ...

Time to pay homeage to those we take for granted. Lol...Not that we use water to wash brushes when we paint online...

This is cute... I have some baby food jars that I use to put turpentine in when I paint and when it evaporates and the paint dries in the bottom if a brush is left in there it's usually stuck forever and I just throw the whole thing away. What this reminded me of. :)

I have this jar of water in my bedroom with about 5 paintbrushes crammed in there and I haven't changed it for months. Well, 'cept yesterday I knocked it over and it went everywhere, so now the carpet in that corner of my room remains a shade of browny-reddy-blue. Mum wasn't so happy :P

Spent this time playing with the tools...first time I ever used the half-tone thingy... then I drew a fly. lol It can't be good to "draw flies". :)

I like the blue a lot better than the black, it separated the background from the bird toooo much, the blue makes it feel more apart of its surroundings. Purdy bird :)

Isn't it interesting how we each view things so differently.. to Gigge, the blue brings out the bird more than the black does, for me it's just the opposite.

And as was correctly pointed out I am more handsome in reallife, but i think that the whole distortion by the use of the circles just adds to the effect of it all. c'est bon.... les lignes de cet piece ne sont pas lisse (smooth.... i think), mais j'aime beaucoup des personnes qui possessedent et utilise des epees... pardonne-moi.... j'etudie le francais seulement en ecole, donc je ne suis pas tres bien a parler.... ou ecriver....
