I won't comment on your skill, because the issue was more or less about your style preference, anime, while your critics favor realism. It's not really fair though to critique a picture about not looking realistic when it wasn't meant to look that way.

holy crap cakes, that moon looks awesome. the hair might look better if you usaed the soft tool on it, neck looks a little choppy too but other than that it rocks

It's pretty good, but the connection between the neck and jaw is a little off... sorta looks like she has a double chin or something (no offense meant).
