I was really torn between this one and Moosh's Armor painting... This one truly captures what the meaning of the painting is... and I'm not really sure even the original artist did that... you definitely did. I smell baby powder, and I think this would make a great decal on a nursery chest-of-drawers. :)

So I was scrolling through the gallery and came across this and perked up and noticed it was by Mr. Solve himself! :o I bet you had a lot of fun working on that, I'm really impressed! :)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Dec 7, 2006)
This is quite good. The flesh tones and texture are perfect, and the warm glow in the background adds mood and depth.
djramz99 (Dec 7, 2006)

Hi dorothy, that's a pretty distinct profile you've drawn there. It's pretty rough around the edges but you definately have the potential to do better I think. Take your time, don't be in such a hurry, you might surprise yourself! ;) Oooh, and I highly recommend either Lascaux Sketch or Oekaki Shi-Painter, they seem to be the most popular.
Shortiebop (Dec 5, 2006)
you should try Oekaki shi-painter its easier to use and i think you will get the effects you are looking for.

I think she might need some.

This is for solve. I'm not sure why you chose to ask me to do this, as I can think of several other artists here that would have been much better at this sort of thing, but I was very flattered that you did. I hope this is what you wanted and that you aren't disappointed. I had fun doing it.

Amazing work as usual!

I assume this is from (or inspired by) Bjork's "All is Full of Love"
video directed by Chris Cunningham.

Sexy silhouette, I especially like how you showed how precise the shadow is up close to the figure and then gradually blurs against the wall. Oh, I don’t know if this was intentional or not, but does the light that casts over the thinner body parts cause the shadow to become foreshortened against the wall? The pose looks good too; she has that deer in the headlights look to me! haha
darthfurby (edited Nov 27, 2006)
Hmm, I don't know.
There are a lot of odd things going on with that shadow. Besides weird foreshortening, the highlights on the girl suggests the lighting is cast from above, but the shadow clearly behaves like it's cast from below. Darthfurby gets an F in physics. Yaaaay!
But the humongous shadow helps add to that "deer in the headlights" look which is so popular amongst the "being held at gunpoint" crowd. If it's not daddy's credit card she probably has at least fifty bucks in her bra. Cough em up girl, I got bills to pay!
