love the draw, the faces are awesome and oddly characteristic even though they're simplistic.

decided to keep playign with shading/lught/shadows
decided to try a "classic" pic
my sister had a pic that inspired me of her, but it looked nothing like this..

so uhh... any tips with shading human skin and facial hair are very much appreciated.

Edit: decided i didn't want to go any further with this, i actually kinda like it, have some room left so maybe i'll touch up little things.
you might wanna veiw on a lower res, just makes it looks better...

This is awesome...of course I wouldn't recommend that anyone try it at home (or anywhere for that matter...) He looks like a rough character. Great lip color and schnozz structure.

yeah i tried somethign different with the lips... i think it turned out pretty good :)
he looks dirty instead of unshaven though :(
and yeah i kinda enjoy drawing noses >_> <_<;;;;;

tips for skin shading? try to make the face a bit sharper, everything is very blurred together to hide mistakes that you may have made.

Nice first try, the eyes lips and mouth are a little big for her face but for it's a first it's great. I always recommend people to use begginers just so they can get a feel for the appletes. Welcome TripleE.

If you can't find the begginers board, try the beginner board. j/k sc!
