Thank you Sweetcell, Miss DJ, and davincipoppalaq :~) Sweetcell, a little bit. I had a big drawing urge hit while 2 draw was down for maintenance and found black and white again. The reference for this was a black & white picture and I found myself drawn to the greys, black, and white and how it suggests the feeling of color. It was fun but about half way through I started asking myself why did I try to tackle this one? There was alot of effort in it so I decided to keep persisting. Finally it started to look better and how it should. About that time my patience was running out and I decided to call it good. Thinking about it.........that's usually how it goes. lol!

I really like this, black and white is the hardest thing for me to do. Yours is pretty darned good. I wouldn't have been able to capture her like you did. This drawing really stood out to me. You need to do more of these. I likey a lot!

Thank you KuteDymples :~) The majority of pictures I draw off site are in pencil (lots of practice). I hope to someday get a better grasp on color. I see sooooo many amazing pieces and so much talent here that my mind is constantly blown away with what's being created!

Thanks for all of the sweet comments on this one. I prefer Lascaux also but I wanted to try shi and it is like over at the other place and that is the only reason I submitted a small drawing here. I just wanted to check out the programs a little more.

Sweetcell we draw at rate my drawing and at Ginkgo. There are a couple of other places I draw too but not a lot lately. I just recently came back to 2draw after being gone for months.

The emotions this displays is strong. Seems as though the figure is very lonesome and sad. I really like the silloutte appearence and the shadow and light together. Good job!

lolllllllll Derrick :) I'd rather be the "victor" than the "victim". That totally does not make sense. :) At least I'm pretty consistent with my retardation. I like this picture, he looks surprised, like somebody "goosed" him. :D

I love kites too...I have several that I take with me to the beach in June..the only time I get to fly them...I have those fancy ones that are made of cloth and look like planes and stuff..I even have one that looks like a little ship..that one is cool...fun drawing Donna!!

I have an urge to go and buy a kite now!!! Love the free flying feeling in this one!!

I just now saw that this is a new quarter/gallery... and that this horrid thing is the only picture I have in there, and my initial thought was "how embarrassing"... and then I realized that it's okay, because later I'll be happy when I see it and remember those of you that said nice stuff even though the picture really kind of sucks. Then I thought to myself... it looks like you posted it just because you were hurt and you wanted attention... and then I realized... Yeah, I guess I did, and some people here were nice enough just to give it to me. Thanks again, ya'll. :)

Oh Cindy be whiney, be cranky, Lord knows with all the hel you've been through your deserving to be so. Besides, you have a larger happier stronger outlook on life that superceded any bad moments. Something I admire in you. That youcould see the humour after youbroke it speaks volumes. (I can't believe the crutches made things worse. Try having the screws turned inward. And hey is all else fails cover them in duct tape, then it'll just rub against you, and not rip anything.)
