Oh yeah. Kloxboy CAN draw a clown.
Matter of fact, I think he can draw anything. To me, his drawings are not really disturbing whatsoever. They are very creative. When I see a kloxboy art piece, I wonder often times where his mind is at to create images that I cannot even conceive in my own mind. Art that is out of this world. I don't know, I can even explain it really, but I know it is really good.
firecracker (Apr 28, 2009)
Well......if you think "kloxboy" can draw a clown.....I would love to see him do it....he would probably draw some demented, distorted, twisted, horribly disfigured specimen of a clown...."lol"!!I would "love" to see one of his clown draws!! I agree with you "Wraith"....I don't find any of his draws disturbing at all. I think they're really cool, and very interesting and different. My brother and I, both grew up liking all kinds of monster movies and scary stuff......my brother used to dress up like a "mummy", and start walking down our road, dragging his one foot....trying to walk like Boris Karloff. I used to "tear" sheets into strips, and wrap the strips around him, to help him look like a "mummy" and I would make pie dough, and roll the dough with a rolling pin, to make it thin and flat, so I could put the dough over his head and face, and mold the dough into a hideous looking monster face. I would poke holes in the dough for his eyes and mouth, and nose holes so he could breathe...."LOL"!! We would take pictures of him looking like a mummy......and believe it or not.....we still have those pictures!! He was a great looking mummy!!!! We did all kinds of weird stuff like that when we were kids. My brother bought monster magazines.....and he actually wrote a letter to" Lon Chaney Jr." once. I asked him if he ever got a reply from Lon Chaney, and he said "no".....he never heard from him..."lol"! Even today, I still live with scary monsters. My sister loves scary creepy monster type creatures. She collects them for Halloween decorations, and parties. Our whole garage is filled with scary creatures.....and downstairs my sister bought a life-sized grim reaper that talks when you press it's button......she has the "grim reaper" standing behind her "bar" downstairs.....he is the "bartender"......"lol!!! Soooo.....there is nothing that "kloxboy" could draw that would disturb me.....I've seen worse looking faces than any of his draws......you should see the creatures my sister has in the garage......"LMBO"!! The kids in our neighborhood who come "trick or treating" at our house.....say we have the coolest looking Halloween decorations in the neighborhood. When my sister throws a Halloween party......the decorations are always awesome....everyone comments on how great we decorate. People can't believe the decorations we have. Last year my sister went out and bought a life sized corpse.....it really looks like a corpse. It makes "kloxboy's" draws look "tame". Anyways.....I don't know how I got into all of this "monster" talk.....I guess it's "kloxboy's draws that did it....hahahaaa. I hope he does draw a distorted looking clown!!! :LOL:!! :P

Yea.. I used to use balloons , they sounded much more real
QTgillie (Apr 25, 2009)
Yes, memories abound. I can just hear the click click click as I look at this. And the faster you went the further closer together all of the ticks would be together. In my imagination, I would think I was actually driving a motorized vehicle. LOL. Very nicely done. Impressive how round you got the wheel.

The Prince of Egypt, quite frankly, is my favoritest animated movie in existence--The Lion King, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid: most people have one of these kinds of movies to say is theirs. However, growing up with a lot of faith and a lot of love for art, I remember watching it when I was 7 or 8, thinking, 'Wow, this movie is beautiful... The art is so pretty'. What caught me more and more as I grew was the dedication put into the piece. Even now, I see little things I didn't see as a child. During the river scene, Aaron and Miriam take eachother's hand in the background. Tzipporah tells Moses the same thing he told her after the burning bush ("Look at your people--they are free." I always loved the way her face looks here). So many things... The music is powerful, the art is beyond any I've seen in an American animation, and the characters are real. Throughout the film, the way Moses and Tzipporah interact, or the way Aaron acts in the background... All these things make me wish Dreamworks would stick to animation instead of 3D work.

Sorry, I lost myself there. ^^

I recently jumped back into PoE, and I can't stop loving it now. It's what I hope to be as an artist: good at drawing, but also excellent at story telling. PLEASE, even if you don't believe in the Bible or whatever, see this movie. That's not what it's about, anyway. It runs a lot deeper than that.

Many nights we've prayed, with no proof anyone could hear~~

Done, I think. ^^ Nothing too extravagant, but I wanted to draw them, anyway. :)

I'll probably draw more from this movie...
Gigandas (Apr 24, 2009)
Speaking of Prince of Egypt, Steve Hickner, the director/storyboard artist from Dreamworks just visited my Pictorial Background class in person to talk about what good story-telling is all about and how characters are best introduced within movies. And no, I'm not kidding :P.
Hokori (Apr 24, 2009)
@firecracker: You HAVE to see this movie, then! It's a classic! ^///^

@Gigandas: Lucky~~! I wish I could've been there. :'(
Miss_DJ (Apr 24, 2009)
