The thing about olives is...if you get a bad one, they're so nasty and bitter you might think you never want another one. But you have to get back on that horse because the good ones are SO good. Olive tapenade is one of my favorite treats--crushed up with garlic, lemon, and sometimes tahini. It's divine on crostini. This is so pretty, Suntan, the glass looks really nice. Gin is gaggy but you can make a vodka martini instead. Jack? ooowwwh. I don't think so. It don't need no embellishments.

ha, thanks very much, I was trying to channel Axil and his way with light...and never did put one in my Jack. The tapenade sounds very yummy..must try.

I don't remember if my mom thought he was gay or not.....she probably didn't care.....she just loved watching him play the piano. I thought he played the piano very well......but that type of music didn't interest me.....I would much rather watch Jerry Lee Lewis playing the piano and singing "whole lotta shakin' goin' on"....."lolz"!! :)

Mr. Pine's Purple House is a book I used to read to my son. Then as the years went by he read it to me. Now he's reading his college books, and I don't see him as often.
So, I drew this picture, thinking about him, and those special moments we shared together so long ago.

The only texturing on the hill is created with color and lines I drew, no 'texture-type' tools. ♥♥♥
