um... i waz gonna draw this in oekakicentral... but i didn't think it would turn out well... hopefully you guyz can give me sme tipz to improve my pic....I really try really, really hard this time... but it still didn't turn out well... guess the background(which i suck at all the time) still very messy... dunno how to clean it up... and the timer's probably off by an hour, because i ate food and watched tv. ^^ DUNNO IF I'LL EVER CHANGE THE BG, MAYBE IF I HAVE THE TIME.

Yes, maybe the sea could use a bit more of a bluish hue... Then it would be even nicer. ^_^

oh wow.!!! plz plz dont be so hard on your self! i wish i could do half of what you do. you have a great talent, and i think youre great!!! *stares* i totally think thats a damn good pic!! but i do agree, add just a hint of blue to make it be water. lol. i love it!!! cant wait to see more! um... background still lookz the same.... blah....

hm... I didn't know what to put under the eye, and I have no clue as to the reality of my shading...

Just think of a real face when shading your own. Remember to put darker colors in the spaces that have shadows cast onto them, or the objects that don't face the light quite as much. Add lighter colors to things that are more exposed to light, and objects that cast their own shadows onto others.I hope that helps. And here is a bit of advice. Don't EVER use the Light/Dark (In your case, Dodge/Burn) tools. Ever. They make you get too used to using their patchy method of shading, while keeping you from improving on the real thing. Okay? |

i wanna draw thiz.... except bigger... to achieve my goal of a 2 star! (on oekaki central, their standards are so high.... and i still can't do watercolour linezz...)

most water colors don't HAVE lines. that's only for water color images in anime and whatnot, but if you didn't already know, use 1x1watercolor brush on 250 opacity. that should do it.

i got a WIERD page when i tried to come to 2draw a few minutes ago so i took a screenshot and posted it on my webpage. WTF is going on? is there something in my internet option that needs to be changed? i've been at 2draw for a while and never had to do anything different. (this is not a joke -- my twisted sense of humor would require me to mention something vague and senseless). if you didn't know, rm2k is a crappy rpgmaker, and it has NOTHING...
