Aubrey (Jul 16, 2004)
Yet another one I missed. I dunno how. Must be blind or something but CAN'T be if I can see how purdy this is :) All those lil details in the flowers are really pretty and I like how they just trail off along with the mountains ((((poppadarlin)))))

her eyes blurry from the tears, a glistening treasure fell before her... "pennies from heaven", she thought, as she set off on a journey that would change her life forever.

Now you've captured our attention, when's the next installment? Are you illustrating a romance novel?
davincipoppalag (Jul 11, 2004)

LovelyLori (Jul 11, 2004)

Nooo Nooo. this is the same room the little flower is hanging in.. this square bucket was put just under where the plant is to catch the excess water ... ((Lori))
LovelyLori (Jul 11, 2004)
it is gloomy isn't it? lol no, I'm not in a mood, just trying out this and that.. I think I love playing with all the colors more than anything :)
Gigge (Jul 11, 2004)
Hahaha, Momma. It DOES look like a chopping block! These experiments are so cool. Yes, Lori, keep playing with colors, please. So fun to see the next image.
Knockoff (Jul 14, 2004)

Inspired by KO's last one and everyone else who's done one.
Just thought I would try one from LOTR that I saw up on the net.

Legolas: Are we there yet?
Gandalf: For the last time, NO! Don't make me come back there!
laurael (Jul 17, 2004)
Lmao, 15...that is so funny...and goes with this perfectly... :)
Gigandas (Jul 20, 2004)
This is really interesting to look at.Each person is pretty unique with different types of clothing and weaponry that it makes you want to look for more as you stare at it :).

Cianteed (Jul 10, 2004)
Done all in pixels with the pencil tool, as one would assume being made on this particular board. Volvagia, if he were able to leave his chambers, I bet he'd be a happier dragon ^-^

*bus tour voice* And to your far right you can see the silohette of Death Mountian. Lol, anyways, I signed the bottom 'Stasiuk' instead of Cianteed because that's my last name.
Reku (Jul 10, 2004)
Oooohhh, ahhhhhh.....OH. ^_^ This is pretty. Your great with pixels. It's very well done. +Two thumbs up.+
LovelyLori (Jul 10, 2004)

Animegirl250 (Jul 10, 2004)

I didn't know what I was drawing, just a guy. But then I thought he looked like how I would imagine Cedric Diggory. So I made it into him. I have no idea how he was described in the Harry Potter books becasue I read it a long, long time ago, so excuse me if the hair is the wrong color or even if he is in the wrong house. But who cares, becasue then I'll just rename it sasquatch.

This has a strong resemblence to Tycho Brahe, a character on Penny Arcade. I really like your style, Dino.
Aubrey (Jul 7, 2004)
I love cartoons, This is great but I have no idea who Cedric Diggory is.
strangeoid (Jul 7, 2004)
*cries* CEDRIC! *sob* Cool style, and a good picture.

What a great picture! Love both the expressions and the pads on that foot! Those bunch of birdies add character to this, too.
LovelyLori (Jul 9, 2004)
hehe I love 'em, I wanna hug 'em!
debem (Jul 10, 2004)

I second Lori's motion to squash the buggies! This guy is pretty scary. Glad our Terminix guy doesn't use an axe.
Aubrey (Jul 10, 2004)
His left hand is missin a finger, that musta been one HUGE and very hungry fly lol Nice illustration :)
laurael (Jul 10, 2004)
Nice looking body, Dino...
You forgot to mention fireflies!! You can't kill 'them' either...!
emmamommalag (Jul 11, 2004)
And please don't kill the praying mantises and katydids and grasshoppers. Crickets are nice too if they'd just shut up. Cool pic, Dino.

I'm very happy for you people who understand how to make skin look real... I really am :)
debem (Jul 10, 2004)
Nice work! The lines around her eyes and the darkening of her teeth lead me to believe that she is in her mid 30's.
davincipoppalag (Jul 11, 2004)
She's eleven but she's had a hard life....
Gigge (Jul 11, 2004)
Hahaha, funny thing is, the girl must have been about 12 in the original image. She looks in her late 20's to me....so.....I guess I need to work on kids. Gotta remember they have bigger foreheads and shorter noses. So much to learn!!

I think I liked version one better. I'm biased towards big shading contrasts. The background suits the portrait nicely.
emmamommalag (Jul 10, 2004)
Me too, the face was prettier and shaded better. It's pretty either way, though. I like it! :)
Aubrey (Jul 10, 2004)
Agreed.. but whatever one you like better is the way to go :) Purdy picture
laurael (Jul 10, 2004)
But when longway does these morphin pictures, you can still see 'any' of the versions you like best. I like the hair and eyes, of course... :)
