Another awesome paint! Okay, this one, I'm thinking....kitchen. It's bright, it's whimsical, just fun to look at over and over.

This is strange and spooky looking. Those empty eye sockets are especially disturbing. Great pic.
davincipoppalag (Aug 4, 2004)
Good thing I saw this from home, here its just a black box..(crappy monitor) 16minutes eh? You and Dino set speed records on these things!
sephiroth54321 (Aug 18, 2004)
wat up wit the blu line?
Deformed (Aug 18, 2004)
The line is probebly a slightly opened eye. If it were a tad darker it would make more sense though.

How layers work.
- Layers can be thought of as clear sheets of plastic that you draw or paint on. Each layer is independent of the other, and their order can be changed.
- The main use for layers is being able to paint behind something without changing it. This is essential for coloring lineart, but is also useful for seperating the foreground, midground, and background.
- Layers can also be useful for transparency. For example, if your drawing had a ghost in it, you could have the ghost on its own layer and set it to half opacity. (Opacity is the opposite of transparency.) This is also useful for lighting effects.
- Keep in mind, however, that more layers usually means bigger file size.

Adding layers.
In Oekeki-Shi, each drawing starts out with a default of three layers. Usually that is all you need, but if you need to add a layer, click the Menu button in the layers window. Lascaux starts with just one layer. To add layers in Lascaux, simply click the button under the word Edit on the left.

Changing layer order.
After selecting the layer you want to move, drag it in the direction you want to move it.

Hiding/showing layers.
To hide or show a layer in Oekeki-Shi, click on the circle to the right of its name in the layer window. To hide or show a layer in Lascaux, click on the V to the left of its name in the layer list.

This was a good idea. ^^ So many people don't know how to use layers, and it definately helps. Great hand! I wish I could draw hands... TT-TT

Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Yay, a frog. I love frogs. Well, I like toads more because they're not slimy. But, this froggy is adorable. Great vibrancy in this pic.
Ty854 (Aug 7, 2004)
*Surprised* Awesome, Trigger.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
I'm so ashamed as well I'm certain that all the above are. You do have talent and believe me sometimes viewing the pictures is a daily thing. I know that it takes at least an hour to review the latest pics from everyone! Sometimes I don't comment because I lack the words to say what doesn't sound phony! This frog is rellay great, and I mean that! ' }

HMm I would say the lips have a bit too much shine on them and the nose shadowing can be darkened a bit but other than that this is a well done piece.
