Thanks...seriously you're one of the only people who ever comments.
concannon (Oct 24, 2005)
Hey, very cool. You seem to have a good grasp on graphics. And I always love me some skulls.
Gigge (Oct 24, 2005)
Pretty neat. Looks like sand being blown away.
Punky (Nov 14, 2005)
This looks pretty neat.
Whenever I try to make a picture with scribbley lines, it looks like crap.
You on the other hand... well yeah. :)

Good job, I dig this.

He looks like my 8th grade history teacher, Mr. Singletary (minus the coke bottle black frame glasses). He used to eat bananas in class and spit them all over the front row when he talked. (course I sat in the very back) Either way, scarrrryyyy.

I thought I'd make another thread that just puts up a general schedule that I can sticky to the top of this board and change whenever, be sure to check back every once in awhile here, especially on Fridays/Saturdays. Paintchat is up right now, started 6:30pm mountain US time, 11/23/2005. The plan is to have it up the rest of the day. Go paint chat!

I wonder do you have another gallery besides 2draw?
LisaAnne (Oct 23, 2005)
This is wonderful. So many neat things going on, not only in form, but also in concept.

That lineart combined with the great coloring job makes this picture dead sexy!
LisaAnne (Oct 23, 2005)
Your work always has a very unique style. This piece reminds me some of Hans Bellmer and Sarah Lucas' "Bunny". I must say your title has me curious paired with this piece. Perhaps you could give a little insight?
mybettastorm (Oct 23, 2005)
I like this alot i love the colors and how he was drawn:)

The style is great, and I love the elongated snout...the composition sets a very distinct mood.

no specific reason, but I cant really find a motivation for living anymore.

I find that focusing all of your attention and your energy on yourself, how you feel, what you want, need, your pain, etc.... almost always leads to feeling like that. Find someone that needs you (and there's always someone that needs you) and focus on them. Worry about someone else, and self pity and wallowing disappears. Try it.
davincipoppalag (Oct 17, 2005)
Pizza is an excellent reason to keep living.
Messagetoharryrmanback (Oct 17, 2005)
Amazing draw and concept. Do not let it be your last!

Archeologists discover the remains of an ancient Earth civilization.

rofl. very comical XD <33 poor ted. And I think those burgers had so many calories it kept itself alive long enough to evolve with the bacteria. So it's actually living and it's waiting for that archeaologist to get closer so it can eat him!... o_o; hi. :D

I also love how they have flashlights. You'd think they'd advance a little if it's been so long AND THEY'RE ROBOTS. xD <33333
SneakyWalter (edited Oct 19, 2005)
Actually, I think the burgers have petrified by now, and the archeologist will sell them to the U.S. army (or where ever he's from) to be used for armor reinforcing. He'll get rich off of it and start his own Grease Drive-Thru.
strangeoid (Oct 21, 2005)
ROFL. This hearkens back to that classic documentary "Super Size Me." On the dvd version, they hold this experiment pitting the rotting time of McDonald's food against regular resaurant burgers and fries...

Guess which didn't rot! XD

I am not sure I liked this one but did like the scales. (I picked the wrong color for her hair) If this doesn't belong on the intermediate boards lemme know. (tips please!!!...) I like using the airbrush but is there a way to shrink the area you are drawing? (IE size of airbrush pen?) I use the soften tool alot but it is making it more blurry than I'd like.

yes...where you select your colors (the little square ones), there should be a big bar with a number on it that is the same color as the color you picked. just pull the bar up and down to change he size.
LisaAnne (edited Oct 15, 2005)
The scales are deffinately a strong point, but I think you're right about the hair color. Overall a nice draw.

Nice improvements.

Okay not thrilled but I think that this is as good as it is going to get on this one.
Menyway (edited Oct 15, 2005)
Wow.. You are very talented Felistorm! I loved the green hair but it didn't go to well with the colors of the fish body.. but the brownish red/green hair pulls it together nicely!! I love how you did her face!! Another great job!! ^_^

I like the background. I think that if you could some how make the coloration on the figure more similar to the background it would be wonderful.
