I loved this show as a child...I don't care about the communist theories. Papa Smurf was wise. :)

Thanks I appreciate it. Poppa google "smurfs and communism"...all kinds of people have these theories, which I personally think are kind of silly, but I can see what they are saying.
Mighty mouse hehe I love boomerang.
JK-Arts (Sep 28, 2005)
Communist theories lol. all i'm saying is how did they spawn there was only one girl smurf.
LisaAnne (Sep 29, 2005)

Aww thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah I'm not totally sure where this came from, but color was deffinately an interest.

"A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step." -Lao Tzu

An independent person can be threatening to some.
Is it the shoes we walk in or the thickness of our skin...
I certainly do not know, but everyone's got a story.
I just moved to Columbus, Ohio...and so I start walking a new path.

My computer is having all sorts of issues...
Gave my brother an "art lesson"...and he was asking me all about acrylics, so I got distracted.

Not satisfied...but done enough.
Messed around for a while with the shadow being realistic and going up against the "wall", but I decided against it.
Timer is a little off, none the less its still not as skillful as it should be for the time spent...sigh...Learning.
davincipoppalag (Sep 18, 2005)
Lots of people in Columbus.. I would recommend shoes for walking around there.. I think this is pretty good.. maybe a bit darker darks and a few highlights to add some substance? ?Still pretty good
LisaAnne (Sep 19, 2005)
Thanks I appreciate it. I know I do need to fix alot on it...but I got bored and frustrated with it...particularily the left foot. Perhaps I'll come back to it later.

I like this. It's simple and looks like a silkscreen print.
LisaAnne (Aug 31, 2005)
Thanks I appreciate it...I was sort of going for the silk screen type of effect. I'm very interested in color though, so I spent more time messing with the colors and hat than anything.
Renuar (edited Sep 1, 2005)
It seems as if your female characters share the same set of eyes, very nice. I think your improving.
oh yea, nice hat :]
LisaAnne (Sep 1, 2005)
Haha yeah I know...I really need to learn to draw other people's eyes...but I guess all the self portraits they made us do in highschool are engrained into me, but thanks I appreciate it.

Poor green gummy bear...no one ever wants him.
I love gummies, even the green bears!

I'm not too satisfied with this, But I decided that I spent way too long on it anyway, and my parents mouse isn't going to improve.
So....more practice for me.

LisaAnne (Aug 25, 2005)
Yeah, thanks for the advice...I appreciate it. The pink background is sort of just a "design" type thing...these are not serious drawings....in fact I think they're total crap haha. Me just expirementing. Thanks though for the comments hideyourface, xodiak, and darkshadow.

Umm...I just haven't drawn on the computer for awhile, so I decided to mess with a series of sketches I have in my sketchbook/journal. I'm currently at my parent's house, and their mouse really is slow to react, so I became frustrated, and left for a while. Either or this isn't something I expect to get alot of comments on or anything...its for myself.

-If the rating should be changed to from 13+ let me know, thanks and take care.

That is what women should look like.
Nothing gets me going like a boney, malnourished zombie. I like real women, with real curves and with at least a good 30 pounds of fat inside of them. Time to upgrade your diet from water to solids dear.
LisaAnne (Aug 26, 2005)
Haha...yes, I know, all those sketches are supposed to be very extreme and out of proportion reality, but its nice to see some people like real women.

My lippers...
closed.
Listening.

Tried a little bit of a different technique...seems to work a little better, but time will tell.
I got really frustrated with the lip gloss lol.
Moving to Ohio very soon, so don't know when I'll be able to draw on here for awhile...anyway everyone take care.
