I just got my very first tablet and I was testing it out with this program. =D I'm happy with this tablet--didn't think I'd like using it more than the mouse but I do. I still love using the Pixia program more though. *hugs pixia* This is a random character I made just out of the blue. I'm surprised how long this took me to draw/color--that's fast to me for not trying to do good. It's the best doodly pic I've been able to do all day long--all my other doodles I made at school had been crap. O.O

. . . yeah. I think I'll use this guy for a comic I've been making. He looks intereasting. =P Think I'll call him Mist because of the title my nephew had me name the picture.

Not bad. I like the pose, and the design of the costume. The white lines around the lineart is pixellated and distracting. I would recommend smoothing them out, or eliminating them entirely. Great idea, I like the pose!

Ohh, black and white--Impossible for me to do. I think the pose is nifty, and her costume is * C U T E *
Her hand is half-holding a stick, though.... maybe close her fingers a little tighter, there? Unless, of course, that was intentional... There are no right answers in art, just opinions. (Can't remember where I got that from, but it's a real butt-saver when offering criticism!)
All in all, a nice picture, reminds me of those tight-rope walkers in travelling cirques. ^_^

I highly highly recommend you stay away from the fill button unless absolutely necessary because it will cause those little rough white lines and makes it look grainy. If you want lines to stand out against black you can try doing them in a dark grey then use the layers to color underneath! This is a very cute piece-keep it up!

I like how you have the flowing hair, but it just seems a little stiff almost. It cute though :D

have you seen the blur tool? you might get some interesting effects...

I think the shading is nice on the skin. :) And the darker brown through the hair was clever. Perhaps add some shading to the tail, as well...? I like the eyes. Practice makes perfect my friend, there's all the help *I* can offer, being a beginner myself... Keep it up!

This is absolutley fantastic! The only thing I will point out is that second eye (the one on the left). It's just a tiny bit odd, you wouldn't find one eyes going diagonal and one straight XP
Keep trying and before you know it you'll be on advanced before you can say: SOLAR POWERED KILLING SHEEP!
