Thank you Sweetcell, Miss DJ, and davincipoppalaq :~) Sweetcell, a little bit. I had a big drawing urge hit while 2 draw was down for maintenance and found black and white again. The reference for this was a black & white picture and I found myself drawn to the greys, black, and white and how it suggests the feeling of color. It was fun but about half way through I started asking myself why did I try to tackle this one? There was alot of effort in it so I decided to keep persisting. Finally it started to look better and how it should. About that time my patience was running out and I decided to call it good. Thinking about it.........that's usually how it goes. lol!

I really like this, black and white is the hardest thing for me to do. Yours is pretty darned good. I wouldn't have been able to capture her like you did. This drawing really stood out to me. You need to do more of these. I likey a lot!

Thank you KuteDymples :~) The majority of pictures I draw off site are in pencil (lots of practice). I hope to someday get a better grasp on color. I see sooooo many amazing pieces and so much talent here that my mind is constantly blown away with what's being created!

Sweetcell we draw at rate my drawing and at Ginkgo. There are a couple of other places I draw too but not a lot lately. I just recently came back to 2draw after being gone for months.

No prob KD, if you need to someone a while back did a Betty Page picture. It's on the showcase page (no pun intended ;D) I think maybe it just needs to be rounder. Do you have a link to the ref?

if i may make a suggestion, i'd say learn what you can from this one and just start a new piece, sometimes you can get stuck on trying to fix something when its easier to start over. Betty has a few key characteristics that make her look the way she does, the shape of her eyes and her thin upper lip, if you want good illustrated reference of her, i'd suggest looking at some of OLIVIA's work, she has done a large volume of pinups of her, and if you want something a little simpler you can check out Dave Stevens.
