dont beat me up just yet, but think about your lught source. if the lights coming from the left, the shadow will go right. think in 3d and where the light beams will go, and where the egg will block them out.

Heh. Yay, Gothic. Frankly, I find points to be meaningless... I can see what they were supposed to achieve, but I really don't think they have...thus, I'm worried even less about my points than I was about my rank. Come to think of it, I'm not sure what my rank was... probably 20s-ish... yesh.

Congrats, but I do agree with taori. I also find the points to be meaningless. It doesn't show how skilled of an artist you are. It just shows that you're posted and commented a whole lot or not much at all or....yeah ;) Congrats again! *goes off to try to rank up more points*

Tri-colored Self Portrait--Anime Style

Randomly narcissistic inspiration, I guess. I just felt like doing an "anime" style self portrait for some reason. This seemed like a good medium for it. I'm getting better with the mouse, only three drawings in. Impressive, given how slow I usually am to adapt to a new medium.

I only used three colors--black, white, and green--to keep the drawing simple. In hindsight, that probably wasn't too good of an idea. But, anyways, I like it. Not as much as I probably should, but I have a habit of nitpicking my work in my head no matter how bad or good it is.

Of course, this is a rather (un)flattering self portrait, so I'm probably biased. XD

Ahhh This is not bad, Your getting much better, The eyes, are a little to big though. Mabby a little bit more shading, too. ANyways please keep up this better art work, Or I think I will go insane again. O_.
