I sketched this goofy skull/zombie today and I figured I'd color it on 2draw. Unfortunately, it didn't transfer as smooth as I'd hoped it would (via scanning and making it a font key). Here is the original sketch: skully

The whole transferring through fonts technique just isn't worth it unless the artwork is smooth. Oh well.

I'm calling this a "painting cure" piece, as related to "the talking cure" or " talking treatment" used in Freudian psychology and psychoanalysis. "Painting cure" would be a subcategory of the general term "art cure". Similar ideas and methods already exist in art therapy but there are very few unique terms associated with the psychology of art. I think "painting cure" could be such a term.

so do you feel better now? I do. I like these ones when you use the reddish orange and the bone colors together, along with the angles you use. This one's cool with the sharp angles yet curves too
