I need to practice doing side profiles with a mouse, so I decided to draw my character: Lexiel, while I was at it.Yeah, quick half-assed background. I'm pleased with how this turned out for an inexperienced attempt at this sort of angle. Done with a mouse. |

Be more specific please? I know I'm not good at coloring skin.Also, I'm lazy and if I don't feel like working on this anymore, that's my decision. However, I may come back and do a little touch-ups until I run out of room. |

Lately, this site has been making me feel that none of my works are good enough... no matter how hard I try, I get shot down... It has lowered my drawing mood a bit...Added more details... to the wooden cabinets, skin, fingers (yes... I have nails) one of my neck moles, (few more of those to add...) and that grey splotch is a pencil sharpener. and a tray... I'll do more with it when I get a chance.. right now, *sneezes* D:
Aside from physical craptasticness... I feel much better mentaly, emotionally and uh artisticly? xD <3

Yes, it is looking better, and I whole heartedly recommend Oekaki shi, so much easier to use, not as frightening, and you have more than one kind of medium. My first pictures I started in Lascaux, and at first I liked it better, then I tried Shi, and let me tell you the difference is incredible, for me. I do try lascaux on occasion, but I'm a shi painter. Take everyones advice to heart and you'll get better. Never give up, never surrender.I'm sorry I had a Galaxy Quest feedback for a second there. Add some shadows to the arms, figure out where the light source is and apply accordingly, maybe some shadows under the chin to define the head, and work on the eyes and lips more to make them pop out. It's coming along, you finish this. Added shading from light hitting forward... switched things around (I'm right handed and my watch is on my left wrist, and the neck mole is on the right side.. replaced with a tiny cheek mole and 2 on my right wrist. Added shading to the walls, made the blotch look like a sharpener, and put an outlet right next to it. I have a feeling something's wrong with the right arm... out too far maybe? Eh.. I'll see what I can do with it...
Been a while since I started this, life got in the way. Lack of motivation Plus I've been ignoring mouse doodles for pencil drawings now that my scanner is back up. Alot has happened then. My watch broke and my hairstyle is.... slightly different. The bangs are braided and I feel I'm done with this piece.

duh.... it was looking good, why delete. just practice is all. I like this. especialy the bed.dont overwork it, and just try another. legs are hard to make look good.. so.. c'mon!? *cookies*

Thank you... I'm sorry.. I just felt like I was being attacked because of how I do things.. Nothing I do is good enough. I only made this because a friend requested it. Not so I can be hassled about imperfections and little things other's don't like about it. |

Yeah I decided to paint my chara Kira all chained up and bleeding... I threw in a close up on her eye to fill space. Not all the red is blood... just a little bit of it is. Red doesn't always mean OMFGBLOODGORE!!!!11. On the close up I tried for a realistic looking view of a woman crying tears of blood out of one eye.Haha emo isnt it? xD I made this during a sugar rush!
