Well I was trying to get the shape of things down(hense the sillouhette) and I could not get it to turn out quite how I wanted it to. I think that I still managed the feel I wanted though.Not sure if this should be here or beginner-either works for me

the neon makes it intense-good use of color. The whole shadow thingy's kinda cool too

I'd say its pretty good...I mean I think that there could be some refinement (but who doesn't need to refine their work). I love the whole idea though...kind of the "energies" colliding. Also there is a little bit of question of sex (as in gender), which I find very interesting.

There is? Uh the one on the bottom is a girl and the one on the top is a guy. There should be no gender confusion. He is more calm passionate-hense the calmer color and she is more intense hense her position and color.

Well I assumed that the bottom was female, but I also second guessed, because of the colors, as well as the face. In general people associate or use (not trying to say this is the only way obviously), but Reds, purples, pinks are feminine, and blues, greens masculine. Even if I didn't interpret this piece the way you intended I still like it. |

She got a lot of height out of that jump.... I'm gonna color it later. It's 3 AM right now. XD And I'm going to fix that long torso later, too. First time coloring it my computer kinda crashed and I lost all my coloring, fortunately I didn't really like it anyway. This isn't much better, but I like the waves and stuff....

hyschara: yeah, I look at it now and it doesn't seem to work as well as it did when I drew it. XD Thanks for the help! <3nekodesu: thanks for the encouragement. :) The feet are bent in (she's flexible!), the angle doesn't do the pose justic I think, thanks again. <3

I disagree about the background...I think there is harmony in the color choices, and also usually when Lil' Jon is out using the pimp cup its at night...lol.But Yeah, that's also just MY opinion.

Thank you. My boyfriend (darkshadow) is addicted to this site, so I decided to give it a shot. :-) I know it's going to take me a while figuring out all the tools available, etc., since I don't normally draw on the computer, so hopefully future pix will improve! :-) Thanks for the compliments guys!

the leaves are supposed to be slightly out of focus. I'm unsure how to procede with the background. the plan was to fill the background with leaves. Orange rose

That is beautiful, I really love that effect what dreaminSTARgirl7 told you to do! Maybe a rain drop of water on a leaf would add too the effect ;) but it looks wonderful now!

I agree with all said above. This is beautiful, I really like the colors and the shading on the inside of the rose. The white lines between the rose and the background kind of take away from the whole effect. Overall, though, this is very well done.
