woaaa and wow! it is the similar style xodiak uses.....but I love the colouring you do, I pretty sure you'll soon be able to move to intermidiate, if not you should be able too now!

I don't think it needs to be sharpened. This is super as is! I play viola, violin, and cello. :-)

;o I envy you. I was taking cello lessons at one point, but I couldn't really stick with it and practice. Im just not good at practicing at something like that. I still really want to learn it though.

where does the sky start

Was looking at an old picture and the camera fell and took a pic of the water and sky. You can�t really tell in the picture where one starts and the other begins so I used it as a practice for blending and highlighting
hope it looks ok and you guys like it i do:P it was fun to make
think i will use it as an icon

tree frog

It's a tree frog that I have drawn for my Aunty ,I haven't added the same background as the one on the reference because I couldn't get it right but I think that this background looks a better, and I took your suggestion and made the frog a little shinier in places.
I think it's looks quite good.

While I -do- like it, I have a couple of suggestions.

1. I HIGHLY suggest using the "Pen" tool in Shi. If you decide to use Lascaux next time, check the "anti-alias" box. Your lines won't be so scratchy!

2. Use darker shadows and HIGHLIGHTS. It will really bring you picture to life!

However, I do like the non-shading on the black shirt. Very cool. <3
