I'm starting to cotton on to the notion that Larry likes being flat. But it's probably just me trying to rationalize the pain away.

awww, he went shopping. And by himself, too. How admirable. (that must be at least 5% spandex then...)
that must be the "Gap".... everything looks the same
Sweetcell (Mar 11, 2006)
I wonder if he shops the same place as Homer. The flowers are still going.
terracotta (Mar 11, 2006)
I sure do hope y'all are wonderin' how Larry got out of that last scrape and into Rodeo Drive. I hope you are 'cause I know and I'm not tellin'. Yet. Nope. I'll give you a hint. Ugetsu. And that's all I'm sayin'.

I will never get tired of Larry.... and this is Larry AND Calvin & Hobbes. It doesn't get much better, my friends.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 5, 2006)
Been so busy that I missed this one till now.... what would we do without our "Larry fix"? :) This is great... I always notice the faint shadows, and how realistic they look.

He's making a new friend????
JoeNobody (Feb 26, 2006)
Gigandas, the inspiration for Larry came from a comment made HERE . From then on most of the episodes came from comments or just where I felt like taking him.

Of course he's just doing a classic figure study. There's no way he can get in trouble for that.......is there?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 26, 2006)
Larry's sketch is quite tasteful, although I'm sure his wife will try to deflate him again, anyway. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing what Larry will do next.
kejoco (Mar 1, 2006)
I think Gigandas is referring to a little sketch on seasame street.
The guy was part of a glass and had a theme song.
...
I just found this teeny little super guy

Daffy Duck, the Daffy Duck episode. Hi-larious.
JoeNobody (Feb 22, 2006)
Thanks everyone. I was just doodling when I did this last night and almost didn't save it. I am glad I did. When I got home from work tonight I looked at it again and decided I actually did like it. I never saw the Sponge Bob episode (but would like to now) and I probably did see Daffy while growing up, but I dont remember it and wasn't thinking of it when I did this but I assume anyone who ever does any kind of cartoon tries to draw them coming out of the page at one point or another. Thanks again for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
TaCO (Feb 22, 2006)
O.O I love this!!!!!!!!

Haha! I know this trailer from a movie - I think it was You've Got Mail. "A hot dog is singing. You want quiet while a hot dog is singing??"
Oh, and it took me a day to realize that Larry is on the sign.
You rock, man.

He should have a combat patch on his right shoulder were the flag is and the flag under that, then it would be perfect. Wearing the patch in this manner signifies that he was deployed to a combat zone. Great peice.

SYTHE, Thanks for the heads-up on the meaning of the patch above the flag. This is of the return of a friend and his wife. He proudly served in Iraq and arrived home safe on Thanksgiving night.
emmamommalag (Jan 21, 2006)
This is a lovely tribute to your friend. I'm glad he arrived home safe and sound and I'm grateful to him for his service to our country.
