really nice effects (reminds me of "posterization"effect )or a screen print. holy hanna, you can do anything w/this software!(please, someone, make me 21 again and slim, will you? Now I know what to do with it, ha ha.)

Just realised that Mooki already did the turtle carrying a world on its back thing, and probably a little more stylishly. Ahh well.Here's my attempt to fathom what the hell the great Space Turtle from the Discworld looks like...

Started with a dark canvas for a change. Definitely effects the way you paint things. Which I like.Very Darth Vader-esque, unintentionally though.

If you go to the very Eastern Cape of the North Island of New Zealand, you'll find this lighthouse on the top of a hill. We woke up at about 4am, drove here from the campsite and dragged ourselves up the hundreds of steps to grab this view of the first sunrise of the world on the 17th December 2006. It was worth it. My friend Jens took the picture (here).

I went swimming with seals in Kaikoura last year, and managed to snap this shot.Should really be in beginner because of the time. I thought I was going to clean it up after the rough sketch, but I really like how it is. Original photo

Well, this pic was about a moment after it swerved away when it was coming for a head-on collision. They aren't vicious unless you get inbetween them and the water when they are on land (well, our guide never said they did bite :P).

Another one... thought I'd make the most of it and try and make it look like the illustration to part of a story... maybe it will be someday.I do plan on making a 2D platformer with these guys so I guess you'll see a few more as time goes on :P |
