No complete reference, just glanced at several pictures for a guidance. For the animals I did use photo's of course. One layer drawing is fun. Called mixed memories before I am also working from memory the one time I spent two days in the Venezuelan jungle. That vacation was money well spent. It was in 2000 and I still remember how wonderful it was. Finished, for now, I keep seeing things to fix, but I'm at a point it might harm more than do good.

This pic reminds me of that riddle about the animals on different sides of the river and the boy on a raft needs to get all the animals across somehow without them killing each other.This has a very 'pop-out' feel to me. Lots of interesting stuff going on here.

oh this is beautiful!! the poem is great too, i actually sang a song with those words for as a solo a few years ago, my first thought when i saw this was that you had heard the song, it adds another level of meaning to the words as only music can. but this is an absolutely gorgeous painting and i hope you do more landscapes soon :)

My sister has five children of mexican and white mixed and three of them look like they are white and the other two look like they are mexican..and my other sister has four children who are mixed with white and black and they look more black than white......personally I believe we are all mixed with something down the line..so it' really doesn't matter...

I think Color has nothing to do with anything that should be political and it is a shame to me that people judge-another-by-color/race, refering to any persons charactorist as a person with or without a demener. (JK-Arts)If i couldn't be any more relative I like the pigs color it comes off pleasant so i supposed it is a nice pig and it wouldn't snap at me when i tell it "Doctor i have no health insurence" ! |
