Thanks. Actually i never thought about Daddy Long Legs when i did this, it was based more on giraffes lol, mechanical giraffes.

Ok, a little art history on myself. I grew up drawing, never took any professional art classes/courses, etc. Thus, i've never studied the basics in depth, like this stuff (which might be why i sux0rs so much =) ). So i was told to do more of this stuff and life drawings. Crits please. I know the shadow of the sphere's off.

Well, if you're open to any critique, then I'd say here are a couple things to look at: First off, you might wanna smooth the lines out more just so it looks more professionally executed, second, you may want the outline (if you're gonna have an outline at all) to have gradation as the shadows come to light. Example: take a look at the top of that ball there, and make the outline that goes around there, baaaaarely visible/very light color (again, assuming you even want an outline. realism has no outlines.). Third, define a core shadow, the darkest dark area on the object (example: the bottom right region of the ball). Fourth, you want to define the reflective light (the light reflecting off the surface the object is on and back onto the object itself). It's a very thin light color line that goes outside and around the core shadow. Ummm... as you can see, it is unfinished. I probably wont finish it until i get a tablet, yes i dont have one :(, how sad. i tried to do shading on the hand with the dodge tool, as i normally would, but it wouldnt do anything for some reason... By the way my real pencil sketch of this looks alot better. :)

I wish I had a soul! Very nice drawing, the pale blue shimmering soul looks great. And the skeleton hand too! It looks a bit chicken-like because of the sharp claws that human hands do not normally have. But it still looks great! >:)|XOD| Clearing out the studio.

Here's a concept of your city thing Noremac. Uh... i didn't know what you wanted in the city... so... i thought it would be nice of me to steal the Mana Tree and put it here ^.^I also forgot about the 'chewing gum' city... i'll add that later. Tell me what you think of it so far.

hmm, thanks for it, umm, the city should have multiple layers of walls and random buildings, it should be dense, and seem like its been highly populated for about 2000 years. also it should have a minor city resting underneath the rock as well. Finally got my Wacom Graphire3! W00T!Yeah... i stopped drawing though because i'm noticing this weird + annoying delay problem. Whenever i touch the pen to the tablet surface to start a line, the cursor just stays in the same spot for a second even when i move the pen... Help please.

Have you tried udjusting the pen sensitivety? That could be it. :}

Hmmm... i can't find that anywhere. Though i don't think it's that, because it seems like the pen just stops responding when i put it down. You know like when your computer sometimes spazzes out and your moving the mouse but it responds only like a few seconds later and jumps straight to another point on the screen? Well, that's how this is right now.

Just some practice. Doesn't look too hot i guess. Crits and comments please!Will color in later. Fixed the arm a bit. I think it looks pretty normal now, or should be even furthur back?
Had to go have dinner, will color it in now. Oops, forgot to turn off the other layers o.0 Ta da! Fini!

I like it a lot! It's pretty anatomically accurate, but I also recomment getting a tablet and just quicksketching a but of anatomical practice pictures, and don't bother filling them in or outlineing or whatever. Just sketches like that are good practice.
