Just the highlights across the bangs and the pink glow in the background make this worth looking at. Besides, it has this innocent happy feeling to it. I think it's perfect.

sweeeet :DDThere... I seem to have the habit of coloring all my pictures too light because my brightness is always turned down. Made it darker... how it was supposed to be.

This is pretty good for your first drawing of a dragon. It's good to see that you put time and effort into this. Some parts could have been smoother (like the tounge, scales on the neck, etc) and you could have added a teensy bit o' shading, but it's not bad, I dig the colors. :D
