I like these drawings like this... I think it was thug that did one once that had the most amazing 3-d effect to it. I should go find that again.

I saw Thug's picture and I have to agree its really good, I drew this a hell of alot better then V.2 but when I tried to load it but an error message popped up saying Java flie sum'n and I lost it.

Thank you, It would be good, if I didn't have a Ref., but artist block infects me. The good thing is its easier to draw this type of plane without a Ref. now.

Really wow I really like it when you do these Think you should have done this in intermediate and drawn them a little bigger so the details stand out a little more Great clouds and this is wonderful robotech and macross I think that I will watch them this week end ;P

Thanks...V.3 I shaded the bottom of the planes more than I wanted. Ref. for the planes postion and BG. is from a page in a Robotech comic book " From the Stars " with a few changes. |

This is really cool. You've got a cool drawing style.. the buildings, the cars, the robot.. check out the illustrator kozyndan: http://kozyndan.com/ He produces similar sorta urban landscapes. They are just wonderful! :)

the eyebrows/eyelashes seem a bit darkk and the lips look too dark as well. try blending the skin in with the lips. :P

Thanks, I wanted to be a comic book artist. Its pretty easy grey ref. lines on 1 layer, second lay. black lines for detail and shadows...I need to find a way to color without using so much space/kb.(299kb)

stick to simple shading, and try not to use the blurry brush tool :0 it has to blend so there are more colors and suchh. basics will save you space <3
