"Ms Blubberbutt"....."LOL"

This is "Ms Blubberbutt".......she escaped from my neighbor's dirty bathroom, and climbed over the fence.....into my yard.....I found her in my flower garden, sitting in my birdbath....so I threw a rope around her, and "hog-tied" her....and dragged her fat butt out of the birdbath, and threw her over the fence, back in my neighbor's yard, where she belongs...."lol".....my neighbor keeps her hidden away in a dirty bathroom, and she does look exactly like this.....hahahaaa!!! :D I'm gonna go ahead and "post" this as "finished".....I'm just too tired of this pic to work on it anymore, and I need to get it out of my "unfinished" draws, so I can work on doing another pic.....:) I can always go back and do more to it later.

Sometimes..i like to stand naked in front of my bathroon mirror just like this gal is doing..just to see what is going on you know..see if i can see in myself what others do...and i can tell ya..nothing keeps you humble like looking at yourself naked in the mirror for an hour...

I've thought about doing a brutally honest full frontal self portrait here, but I'm not there yet. I don't think I'm comfortable enough to absolutely not care and just do it.

Hi "Bette".....thank you very much for your nice comment......I appreciate it.....and yes, I know that little toilet will never accomodate her big butt.....if she needs to "take a dump", she'll probably have to use the bathtub...."lol"! "MissDj".....yes....I think she is a "sumo" wrestler....haha! "Bmw"......when I was much younger, I could stand naked in front of a mirror.......but there's "no way" that I would do that now.....my skinny old body wants to stay "covered"....."LOL"! "Axil"....."Puh__leeze".....don't draw a full frontal self portrait here......I wouldn't want to see that....hahahaaa! this is a good drawing ..the only thing I would say is you should have made the head wider.it looks a little strange...but hey I'm no expert :)

"LOL"......I have no idea what this pic is about....I saw the "ref" pic, and I thought it looked kinda strangely funny and cute. I think it's a "caricature" of someone....I don't know who this guy is supposed to be.....but I never drew a caricature type of draw before, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well....I'm posting this as finished......I fixed him up the best I could. I might add a little bit of "dodge" tool to put some light on him.....but maybe I won"t....haha! I tried not using the texture tool.....I did start to use it on the trees....but I tried to "blend" it out. I googled "Botero" to find out who he is.....this is supposed to be a "self portrait" of Botero....."LOL"!

I cant say im that keen...it looks like you draw one half of his body copied it then flipped it over to make it look cemetrical.Which is fine if your drawing a gingerbreadman...but not so much in this case.

Well, flubadub.....this draw isn't supposed to be a realistic looking one......it's more of a satire, cartoonish, caricature type of draw.......it's ok if it looks like a gingerbread type draw....lol! I used the ref pic that Botero drew, and it looks very much like the original pic, except for his facial features.....I did a half ass job on that....haha!! I appreciate your criticism though......I know if you were to do this same draw....it would look perfect.....I'm not an artist....I'm still learning, and I have a lot of learning to do.....haha! :P Hi "BMW"......Thanks for commenting.....you want to know what the red flag means.....well.....I think you'll have to ask the original artist (Botero) why he put the flag there....but I'm glad it's there.....because I wouldn't want to draw what's hiding under that flag.....HaHa!!!! :D |
