My friend got so many. This venue is quite small and opened to outside. It was a beautiful night and they were all over the place..the band I mean..on stage, outside on the lawn, back inside..over in the corner. It was so great.
Keikun (May 1, 2010)
This is gorgeous! I love how the colors of the flower makes the color in her eye stand out.

Thank you Dave and firecracker. It is kind of a stretch for me to do landscapes but I love them and had to try it. Gillie it is nice to be here, I wish I was perfect at doing flowers I have always heard practice makes perfect so hopefully that is true I make enough of them LOL. Really cool to see you here too. Elly I know you love barns and even though I can't do them like you can, maybe someday. Thanks Chosen, nice to meet you too.

Great depth and richness of color .... like it a lot!
bette_davis_eyes (May 5, 2009)
that flower looks really pretty dave ..but I think I like it better without the fence ..because either the fence is miniature or that's the mother of all flowers lol :P

firecracker (May 22, 2009)
This "pic" is awesome.....I want to learn how to draw like this....."lol"!! "Gillie".....How do you create such amazing artwork without using any texture tools.....your blending and shading and everything is just perfection.....I wonder if I can ever learn how to do that....Fantastic draw! :)
QTgillie (May 23, 2009)
thanks bunches elly, I am glad you commented also
Fire: your artistry and abilities are all there inside of you and on your pics, it is just behind all of that texture. I only use the texture tools if the subject calls for them, such as a pattern in a cloth. I have used them in an abstract. Or a repetition effect I may want to achieve, such as what you did in your wheat. Your work is so beautiful, it can stand on it's own with out all the "effects" added.
Thanks so much for you comments, they mean a lot.

Peak numbers of visitors occur in the summertime, when Niagara Falls are both a daytime and evening attraction. The oldest and best known tourist attraction at Niagara Falls is the Maid of the Mist boat cruise. Along with letting you take glimpses of its astonishing beauty, the premises also will leave no stone unturned to enlighten you about the Niagara’s ancient culture. The spot contains ample of museums including the Native American Museum of Art, the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, and the Castellani Art Museum.

As I veiwed this Divine Creation, My thoughts wandered. I have this Idea that life may not have been so quick to change in the past two thousand years. If people had been using teams of snakes. To pull wagons and do tasks of burden.
Thinking of shows of yester-years. Can only Imagine titles would be, The Headless Snakeman. The Snake Whisperer, Plus Neil Young's big hit from the 70's. A Snake With No Name. Yes with just that one small detail in a long chain of events from History. I'm sure Civilization would be a far different place, then as we know it now.
Everything counts for something in this World, ( It's 242 days till Christmas )
Suntan (Apr 28, 2009)
