ignore the time on this one..drawing and chatting really dont go together!
safescene (Jun 22, 2004)
What Kasha said, and those blossoms are wonderful. Such pretty red lips, too.
Gigandas (Jun 22, 2004)
Reminds me of some Japanese cultural paintings(or are they drawings^^;;;?).Anyway you seeemed to have captured a good soft flow of peace in this one :).
Gigge (Jun 23, 2004)
Very pretty. The lady actually reminded me of the woman pictured sitting at the front of Gauguin's Barbarous Tales. Looks like two interpretations of the same woman.
xwindflyer (Jun 29, 2004)
Very nice. Remindes me of spring. |

Aubrey (Jun 26, 2004)
"Now Mr. Bear.. I noticed at the last tea party you weren't as sociable as usual... what's the matter?"Your sister's a cutie for sure. I love the innocence of the whole picture.

davincipoppalag (Jun 26, 2004)
I kinda like v3
Gigge (Jun 26, 2004)
That's pretty cool how each of the versions is a completely different picture. I like the colors you used on the last version.
sal (Jun 27, 2004)
i like this version the best... nice soft colours... good draw ;)
Knockoff (Jun 28, 2004)
Wow, major changes. But these major changes are really good. I like the soft colors. |

Aubrey (Jun 26, 2004)
I dunno how you do that in Lascaux either Lori... please explain... *sips sunkist*
LovelyLori (Jun 26, 2004)
ok... ahem... damn... I dunno what the little doohickies are called... but there's this little thang over by where you can add layers, it shows two layers, stead of one, ya nab that thang, , then ya click on your pic(if you wanna clone something small, it has to be the only thang in the pic so far, I believe... oh man... you guys aren't gonna understand a thing I"m saying.... anyway, if you wanna move what ya just cloned, ya go nab that arrow lookin thang over by where you can add text... and well... if ya wanna keep clonin... just repeat.... ya git it? lol.... ahem
Gigge (Jun 26, 2004)
Hehe, I undertand you, Lori. But, that's probably because I've done the same thing to clone. But, not as much as you did in this pic. Very cool effect.
Knockoff (Jun 28, 2004)
Thats just really scarry. *runs away* Lol, this is cool. Its a great idea also. |

You naughty guy...or lucky....very nice picture though. The hat is such a good clue to the profession. Love the faded background too. Muy bien dibujado.
emmamommalag (Jun 27, 2004)
Ricky Nelson's Travelin' Man is running through my head now. Nice picture, zep. I like that background too.
davincipoppalag (Jun 27, 2004)
Yo no soy marinero, yo no soy marinero, soy capitan, soy capitan..... Richie Valens... This is another great picture

Another one bites the dust :)
Gigge (Jun 26, 2004)
It's scary how you keep coming up with these great 'draws', DMV.
DMV (Jun 26, 2004)
Thank you all:) yeah I thought so too VV :)
davincipoppalag (Jun 27, 2004)
But that's why he is doing that. His job is coconut opener on an island in the south pacific, he was the fastest around because he used to open them with his teeth..sadly they wore away and he lost the world record. It was very upsetting for him and it drove him to this. Nice THINK D! lol heehehe
DMV (Jun 27, 2004)
Excellent story Sir Dave:) lol! |

strawberry inspired me with her gorgeous eye ^^. Her's is much better but I couldn't resist. I hope she doesn't mind...And only two of them have eyebrows.
Gigge (Jun 26, 2004)
Pretty eyes. It's good to try different styles and techniques. I like the gold one the best.
MD_Anonymous (Jun 27, 2004)
Only problem is I can't come up with different styles! ^^ Thanks for the comment. |

Better to have that mess in a sketch than in my head....no reference.
sal (Jun 26, 2004)
cool pic... i like the green tones you've used, help make it look more interesting... the body looks kinda buff...lol
davincipoppalag (Jun 27, 2004)
Nice sketch (ing). Maybe darken up the background to make the face stand out more..it's hard to see the whole thing
emmamommalag (Jun 27, 2004)
Interesting picture. I, also, like the green shading and agree that it needs a darker background.
Gigge (Jun 27, 2004)
Hehe, yeah I cheated on the background. I just used this sketch to test a bunch of stuff I hadn't done while doing all those portraits....an older woman, someone facing left, and drawing without a reference. But, I hadn't studied bodies, so....I guess I did use a reference...a mirror for the 'buff' shoulders that don't fit with the head. Thanks, Sal. ;D |
