Cloud get's emailed another FF7 yaoi fanfic."Why do they think I'm gay? So what if I had a bath with all those men, dressed up in women's clothes and carry around an extremely phallic weapon... I mean, give me a break, my girlfriend just DIED! This is the last thing I need...Geez..." :P hehe

....the bubble is fine....but wow. hehe, never was the biggest gamer ever, so I dont know much about the FF series, but this is incredible. I luv the background more'n I love cream puffs!

I drew some bettas ages ago. People thought they were penises aswell. Grrr... lol.Looking good. :) Could have done with a few more highlights though.

I really like this. It feels like it has good depth to it, although the completely black background seems too strong. Some more small-scale details and more use of the composition framing would really add to it, also. |

He was asassinated on 2/21/1965. I will give you my view on why in the most general terms. He had the ability to make people listen. Who was listening you ask? Largely the black community. Whats the problem with that you ask? Black leaders at the time felt that they may lose their following to him, lose their position and power if people started looking at him instead. No no no , can't have that, kill him. But killers, you say, what if he would have done great things for the black community? Well that would be nice I guess but not at the expense of my popularity and power within the black community. You see, in order for me to have the money and power that I do have in my community, it is necessary for my community to feel that they need me for protection, guidance and answers, if I let them think for themselves, let them grow and learn, they will no longer need me for answers and where would that leave me? No thanks, leave them in the dark, let them suffer, it makes me rich. Malcolm X was beginning to mess that up for us black leaders so we killed him, and of course, we got away with it because whitey didn't mind at all.

It seems to me that graffiti is very similar to asian calligraphy, both of which I have dabbled in... the main difference being that a can of spray paint is obviously not a brush. The similarity is creating art from the form of strokes of a word or in case of an English letter. I would like to suggest not using the continuous line entirely because it can limit your style sometimes, and the masters know when and where to stop spraying, much like calligraphy. Obviously though that's just whatever style you may have.About this particular piece I think the background needs something badly... a grey stripe imo doesn't suit it at all. The shape itself is interesting, it reminded me of an 'm' at first. One of the greatest things about graffiti is that it can disguise it's message and force people to find whatever the message is while looking all over the piece.
