This kind of abuse is good. I thnk this is one of my favorite pictres of yours. There's just something about black and white pictures. And I just love the face and hair.

is the fish on drugs? is that what the swirllies are?

This is soooo cool though I want a fish bowl like that that would be sweet
Roytje (Mar 4, 2007)
How did you get the watertool-look of the fish in Lascaux? I can't find that tool in Lascaux..
But this painting is fantastic, very stylish with a nice compostion. :)
Dr.Snoopy (Mar 4, 2007)
@Roytje: You need to activate blending and then lower the flow ;) But it feels different from Shi-Painter.
Just practice a bit and you start to feel comfortable.

It's a cool picture of a fish!

The bunny suit boy. He is afraid of his own shadow.
Still stuck for names.

This could be a nice illustration for a children's book. Really sweet!

Nice! P. Glass provided some really cool music for this project I saw last summer. Check out the brief vid here: http://www.lifethroughtime.com/music.html

I like how some of his work inspires images of life and some of it inspires images of death. :D

Wow! That's really cool, I like the way it's your own style, or have you based it on a different artists style? Either way, I think it should be on a higher level than begginer :)
Dr.Snoopy (Feb 21, 2007)
Thanks. Well it's not directly based on one style. It slowly evolved out of a lot of messing with shapes and colors. Because this took quite some time, I got influenced by others(especially by 2Draw folks).

I think about spamming intermediate again :P
Mainly I went to beginner because I did A LOT of <30 minutes paintings and because I'm not too sure about the control I have over my style. (I paint what feels right)

No joke,it saw it on fashion news.Get yer portrait skills polished up,and paint people.I' wanta do that,I love to do portraits. Ok, this is not a good copy, I was just studying the light.)

Keep doing what you"re doing..the stuff you're posting is going in great directions..great faces
Dr.Snoopy (Feb 17, 2007)
Thanks :)
I totally agree with you Miss DJ. I mostly use just fragments of a ref to have some shapes I can play with, or to learn something about anatomy.
...So this time I tried without anything.
Wanted to be free like a bird...^^
But this piece has to wait a while to be finished, because the god of anatomy has changed his mind, so that I seem to get nothing right again -_-
Good thing I'm posting in the beginner boards.
