I really like the hand with its fine play of colors. The other body parts feel a bit lost and drag the eye into uninteresting spots.

I'd like to help so I made these standard comments for anyone to cut and paste to drawings because they're all pretty much the same comments all the time anyway. "Oh wow, this is great!" "I love how this is turning out!" "Oooh, I just loooove the colors you used!" "Another great drawing!" "OMG...this is unbelievable!" "Nice one!" So there you have it. Oh wait .... one more "Thank you all so very much! I could have done better but I got tired."

As it stands now every contest will run a full month, to let people take their time to plan out and finish their entries. This way there's not as much pressure placed on the artist to rush. However if a piece is not finished by that time it will not be judged. Hopefully this will give people more incentive to participate. So now on to the next contest. I drew a couple of things on ratemydrawings.com rainbow fish paper world I think the tools we use here with lascaux are far superior, but they do have this weird fill tool that lets you draw the shape you want filled. Both of those drawings are made almost entirely with that tool and a lot of overlapping transparent shapes. It'd be nice if we h...

You might have noticed a 500 Server Error message when you go to 2draw. We are not sure what is causing this issue (growing pains?), but we are looking into it and will keep you posted. We're going to try a new system of voting for what contest idea gets picked next. Everyone can make one suggestion per contest week, which usually runs for a about 2 weeks before the next contest, and everyone gets to make one vote. Ideas for contests will be posted in this thread, and when enough ideas have been made then we'll start a new round of voting to get ready for the next contest.
