nice picture but that face really creeps me out. it looks too old for the body, and it's not clear if it's a male or female. not that that couldn't be intentional.

yes, Marcello, the asexual appearance is quite intentional, as is the question of age, as Cupid is usually portrayed that way. Although to "creep you out" was not my intention.

It does look like a painting... absolutely marvelous representation of Cupid. I really love the glittering arrow.

it's a slightly greenish yellow bordering on light olive color.nice design, but I don't like all the white bits, you should probably use layers or at least the mask tool then draw with a colored brush instead of fill. (basically never use flood fill)

just imagine transparencies you can paint on and switch order of and move around, but with the added ability to draw on any of them. then imagine drwaing lineart on one layer, then coloring on another. coloring on a second layer won't touch the lineart on your first layer.

Not doneIt started out as a nuclear reactor- I don't usually draw sci-fi type stuff but thats how it came out.

The guy on the bottom looks very zombie-ish... I think it's his green tint.

Well, regardless of the zombie man, I think what makes this picture interesting enough for me to comment about is its intense color. It definitley gives off that nuclear reactor (?) kind of feel. Good job with the color scheme and the lighting. |
