I'm having a lot of trouble with the second person. Right now she (or at least she will be a she) looks like nothing more than a bunch of misshapen wire hangers. Anybody have any pointers? ^__^;;;; |

Just some practice. Doesn't look too hot i guess. Crits and comments please!Will color in later. Fixed the arm a bit. I think it looks pretty normal now, or should be even furthur back?
Had to go have dinner, will color it in now. Oops, forgot to turn off the other layers o.0 Ta da! Fini!

I like it a lot! It's pretty anatomically accurate, but I also recomment getting a tablet and just quicksketching a but of anatomical practice pictures, and don't bother filling them in or outlineing or whatever. Just sketches like that are good practice.

I like the ethereal lighting, like this is a place of mystery. Some of the straight vertical and horizontal lines make it seem a bit manmade though.

The time isn't as important as the art itself, as far as I know, it's simply a guide that says roughly how long it may take to produce something of the quality expected. I feel this is intermediate quality because of the way the light and color was used to create a mood and the way it engages the viewer. I have something on this board that was only 19 minutes, but I was able to produce something acceptable in that time and so no one cared how long it took. |

there was so much batman influence, too, though, which was what i loved. you know, the old batman animated series? that first shot, the birds' eye view of the buildings and the alleyway with the street lamp- pure batman. rockin'.

Second attempt at doing scenic pictures. I'm not sure if you can tell but that gray thing is a boulder...and the white stuff around it is the water hitting against it. Any suggestions on what I should do next? Okay...Now I have no idea what else to do so I'm done with this.

I'm a bit concerned with the proprtions of the woman. I have a sinking feeling that she's considerably smaller that the man. . . I can't quite tell. Does it look off to anyone?
Oh, and they will have clothes eventually. I suck at clothes so that will probably be the last thing I do.

Yes, the woman is smaller than the man, about child-size compared to him. I don't see a problem with that, however.
