OMG...This is the freakin' best lion i've drawn in my whole LIFE. *pauses to worship her tablet* *ahem* Anyway...not specifically based off of Disney's The Lion King, just all the artwork I've ever seen in my entire life. I like the fog around the flames...it would be better but my blur tool seemed to just cop out on me there...

Okay, this was much harder than it looks. It is so freaking hard to get all the little boxes lined up right and then I still didn't do it properly on the wings >.< but this can be my user icon for a while, until I tire of it.

I totally fubar'ed the Magic Wand tool, so I'm saving it now. And, this WILL be intermediate skill!! Edit: I just realized I want to collab with someone to do the human half. Am I allowed to do that on this board? How will I go about such a thing? Edit: Managed to do the human bits on my lonesome, hope it doesn't suck to bad.

The reason is because I needed to get that 'blur+antialias' effect I wanted, and the edges of the brush would catch on other bits of drawing, totally crappifying it. I am prouuuud of the hair. And I did this at school, which is why the hair is *ahem* there. Not done, need to straighten out some small details...like the fins...the FACE...
Aaaand done! It's been sitting around for like a month but now it's done!
