To my beloved J.R....where ever he is... :( *** took way too long cuz I was WAY too indecisive over silly areas. Over all, the feel of it came off the way I wanted. Ugh...Been listening to Evanescence "My Immortal" over and over to keep in the mode...I think my ears are gonna bleed. o(x_x)o

Ah no! what happened? You blurred it all? you lost so much character with the line art...I loved how the faces described their longing for each other and how you could see his hand reach out with the fingers...it still looks good but I liked it much better the first way-though I admit I like the hair without the outline

heh..you beat me to that comment DBA. but on the subject, if i see something good it seems to make it 'better' to me if it was done in a shorter amount of time. maybe because it indicates a higher skill level? eh, just an opinion.

Click here. Limelight is the last orchid on this page. Not sure if i made this look any better than the first submission, but i think i am just to the point where i change one think and then change it back to the way it originaly was. and i have not been drawing continously for 6 hours

This reminds me of the black holes in space. I was reading about converging nebula and the advances made in the last say 20 yrs.,hubble telescope & etc. This is so simplistic , yet wonderful.

you are amazing..every piece is great..every piece is different.. I come here several times a day just to see if there is a new Axil picture...(and I am usually not disappointed!) you even got the liquid distortion of the spoon in the glass... I stand in awe...

I think i'm going to try having a dark feel to all my drawings for a period of time.I really like Gigers work and if i can do some good work like that it will help loads in some of my art projects.

I seriously think you should consider writing and illustrating a children's book with these fish, lizards, turtles, and bears... give them all goofy names, start a series of books, get rich.... :) |

ok, i wanted to try and imitate the style of Norman Rockwell...this is based on a childhood memory ok, not sure if this is exactly what i was going for...but i definitely learned a lot...thanks furyofroy for your patience...and i think im gonna callit a day unless anyone has any suggestions. :)

I really like the way you did the tablecloth - he is just a tad bit blurry, maybe if you sharpened the edges on him he would come to the foreground a little more.

oooh, this reminds me of one of the oolld artists, umm, can't think of his name, dangggit..he did those ghoulish, dripping, nightmarey, vision in the night faces all melting together, and demon-looking creatures. I have a book of his work somewhere, *runs to go find it* (I like it, I like it.)
