I tried to paint my baby brother's highway patrol car (some of you were unfortunate enough to get a glimpse of my attempt) I gave up on it, I just couldn't get the wheels right. This http://new.photos.yahoo.com/deadlyblondearcher/album/576460762310485368/photo/294928803036212293/0 was the car I was painting. He came over day before yesterday to have lunch with me, I took a picture of him with his current car... it's thishttp://new.photos.yahoo.com/deadlyblondearcher/album/576460762310485368/photo/294928804383901133/7 ugly Ford with ugly rims, :O ANYWAY.... so I'm painting his badge, instead.

I know it seems relatively boring and rather "sterile" for a piece of art, but I really wanted to do it, so I AM. :)

Nice portrait. :)
MrsFolger (May 21, 2007)
So creative. You're very good with portraits.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 21, 2007)
This reminds me of the little Bible school song... red and yellow, black and white... they are precious in His sight... 'Course you'd have to add a few colors to the song for this one... :) It's really beautiful, I like it.
Miss_DJ (May 21, 2007)
what a great idea! The face is precious and creative, and the hair as well!!

It would look better without the tree on the backgroung, a more minimalist approach... still, thi is a very good drawing :)
davincipoppalag (May 21, 2007)
I like the sunlight on the floor...the window needs more though
MrsFolger (May 21, 2007)
Great color combination. I think it's great just the way it is. I like the window and the tree outside it.

I like how I can find my way into this picture. It's wonderful how the light streams through the clouds.
davincipoppalag (May 21, 2007)
Glad ya like fanks..
Wraith (May 24, 2007)
This drawing is very pleasant to look at indeed! I like that cloudy, vivid atmosphere.

lying on the floor.

I had to close the applet and submit the image so I can go to sleep...
I'd still really like to work on the hair and do a proper background only it's already 1.9mb and I feel bad asking for even more space...

Where did you get your hands on a Beatle's wig? :)

This ended up lovely Giselle. The colors make you look so fresh and healthy and my God, I love that shirt. And that is a hard angle to draw. Extra Kudo's all around. It's just beautiful and really deserves to be in Advanced.
Anna (May 20, 2007)
HOT DAMN, GISELLE! I looooove this. You are great, ma'am!

I gave his face the caricature treatment. I see a little Samuel L. Jackson in this face. This drawing is for enjoydotcom.

One of my all time favorite actors, fitting that he should be portrayed by one of my favorite artists. Love it. :D

I'm so honoured you did my request, and such a good job at it too!

No not you Hunter, but s'allright. :)
enjoydotcom (May 20, 2007)
I love the pencil look of this, and if you're doing this without ref: applause applause.
It makes me wanna do a nude too, Ghe ghe... but I'm no good without refs, maybe gonna do myself. Hope that doesn't sound sick...
HunterKiller_ (edited May 20, 2007)
Cindy: You're too kind, Cindy. =)
Sweetcell: Not me what?
Enjoy:
maybe gonna do myself.
LOL! It's ok, we all do ourselves sometimes. ;)
Pseudonymous (May 22, 2007)
Good job. If it's supposed to be somewhat cartoonish, I think it's perfect. If you're going for realism, I'd give a few tips but I like it the way it is.

trippy pants. Very strange but cool.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 18, 2007)
This is so totally interesting to look at.
(I'm glad to see he's wearing pants, however "trippy" they may be.) ahah :)
davincipoppalag (May 18, 2007)
Trippy joepic..nice!
Sweetcell (May 18, 2007)
I'm so glad it's not as sharp, it's more intersting this way. The blocks of colors, the folds, the shading, beak hat, shoe, everything. Just love this one. It would go in my favorites folder if I had one.
