Well...wow..I don't know what to say about this really. I used a reference for this http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24864778/ . I almost cried when I started because I was so frustrated. Wow... Lovely. The coat fabric looks real, and it's designed so well! Did you use a reference or design it yourself? Anyway, the perspective and lighting effects are just amazing, though I am having a hard time figuring out where the lightsource(s) is/are. Still. Beautiful piece. The bare white background even adds to it, giving it that harsh lighting effect!

You do do them well, it looks like a shopped photo. Nice one DA. Maybe the left eye is a little high but it's mostly in shadow.

Hate to hear when people get sick. get numb fingertips too sometimes, but it's mainly when I'm sitting and doin something for awhile. I hope it isn't too serious and you get better soon Giselle.Does the Skittlegoose lay multicolored Skittle eggs? (what would that taste like) You have the look of colored pencils in this one Giselle, I've been wanting to try that myself. Is pweddy.

"Taste the rainbow"Seriously I love that you kept it in. I know people are saying there's no head but to me it looks like the head is in shadow. There's the beggining of the base and it fades out. It's powerful, like a reminder for those who still suffer everyday from starvation or desease. Beautiful piece and message Roy. Oh, I should say in keeping with the theme of suffering, the rainbow looks to be hope for something better. The end of suffering. K Ill get off my soapbox now. :)

The painting is just awesome! The colors are not too rough and not too smooth, almost like wood. I don't really visualize the body but I get the sense of "heat" just surrounding it. :D |
