This is so beautiful! I like your version better than the photo. My favorite part is the eyes, I wish I could do portraits like this.
And using one layer is where it's at. :D

Oh that's beautiful Mocha, those eyes are just amazing. There's a gleam and glossiness in them. And no worries on the lips. One layer? I HATE using one layer these days.

I saw this earlier when I was just **lalala** browsing around, (sometimes I browse a lot before I make any comments), and then I forgot to go back and SAY something. Imagine that. I was glad to be reminded of it when it appeared on the welcome page just now.

This is wonderful, I love everything about it.... nothing appears to be "off", and even if it is, it doesn't detract from the viewing pleasure of it, which is what it's about, so THERE. :D

Excellent! I like your version better too. And looking at the animation I love how determined it is drawn (or at least, appears to be). One layer is fun, don't think I've done it yet, usually at least 2.

so good! I especially like the eyes also, and I like the lips too. I almost always only use one layer to keep it more like painting on a real canvas. Great job!
