ooohh... the EYE is staring right at me... it's giving me shivers... and like DeadlyBlonde said, it looks evil but not horrible... very intense. Excellent job. =)
Menyway (Jun 22, 2005)
Wow so cool!! It doesn't look evil to me... it kinda looks like a cat eye!!! I love cats so this is awesome even if it's not one!!! ^_~
enirroc (Apr 25, 2010)
I had a friend who had a cut by their eye like that. Man, it was gnarly.

From a black and white photo. I chose this subject based on several factors, I like the angle the shot was taken from, it creates an impression of superiority. The black and white was also something I felt like trying to "get right" and last but not least the shot showed lots of detail in the muscles that I felt would be a good challenge, something that would hold my interest and make me put forth some effort, good exercise. I redid this comment after finaly having read the rules.

gothamgirl (Jan 27, 2004)
Very nice! I like how you fixed the hands, much better :D Her right arm is very life like. GJ! My only recommendation would be to match the stomache/arms a little more. Well done, can't wait to see more!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 27, 2004)
So glad to see you are still at it. I think your highlighting and shading pracitces are coming along very nicely. :) So proud of you Dixie.

Awwwwww this is so cute! I love bears! lol reminds me of my wittle teddy, but mine is very petite so I don't think it could give me a big huge bear hug like these two bears could! lol good job. I love how you did their fur. They look really real. You could work a little more on the background, like the sky and all that. Other than that, you did a great job. Your works are pretty detailed and all the effort was shown and it was well worth it! You deserve an A+. =)

...Elvan assassin. Don't know why, it turned out bloody again. Any suggestions for background are welcome.
I like the skull. took me an hour to draw. So tired right now. I rarely draw 3 hour straight (I had to submit it during differnt stages just in case my browser froze). especially with empty stomatch...

I originally did a work similar to this with oil on canvas about 10 years ago. I believe it was while I was studying a book called "How to Paint Roses".

It's cool, but I think the painting worked a lot more without the flames. the reds sort of crashes with the blue
