omg, this is so cute...my mother has this same pic in her bathroom. Well done
Aubrey (Sep 7, 2004)
Yep yep looks like a shadow box effect. All the main things (the sink, towels) look like they're popping away from the background like they're truly set apart from everything else. Nice job skippy.

She's so cute, I can't get over how many little circles you have in the tail, it must have taken forever. beautiful work!!
bumpinthenight (Sep 7, 2004)
very cool.... wooooah! you must have a tablet.... all those scales would kill with a mouse!

SHE HAS NO EYES! it's preeeetty though.
Asridaein (Oct 22, 2004)
This is soo cute. I love mermaids but I can't really draw them very well on here, its just too hard. You are amazing, i would never have been able to find the patience to do all those little circles. Kudos to you.

"The little finger side of the hand sets across the
end of the forearm at a sharper angle than does the
thumb side.
It is narrower and never wholly conceals the rest
of the hand.
The pisiform bone, or heel of the hand, is always
conspicuous on the lower side of the wrist.
To it attaches the flexor carpi ulnaris muscle,
corresponding with the tendon of Achilles.

1 Pisiform (pea-sgaped) bone.

2 Flexor carpi ulinaris.

Sure! I'm sure he won't mind if we both show up to borrow his book. :)
Axil62 (Sep 7, 2004)
Most certainly. Say, just a thought, how do you two feel about jello wrestling? You know, just in case there's some sort of unfortunate dispute over who get's the book...not for me you understand...just trying to figure out a fair deal for you girls is all.

Pretty. It has somewhat of a Da Vinci sketch quality to it.

"When the hand is employed in what may by contrast be called the intelligent uses, in which flexibility is necessary, it will have as a consequence greater freedom of movement, will assume much more varied positions, and will express much more readily the mental states."

I love these you're doing Axil. Drawings of hands in general are just great, like the one of the hands drawing each other, I think it was MC Escher who drew that. Hands are just so neat, in life and in drawings.
Axil62 (Sep 7, 2004)
So...more then?
Aubrey (Sep 8, 2004)
Of course! lol Silly :)
shell (Mar 3, 2011)
I like hand drawings I think hands are challenging to render, next to noses and ears. Ears are the hardest.

I know that this isn't very good, and I know that it didn't take me very long but....*yawns*....I spent the day in the garden....for hours nonstop, and I am falling asleep at the computer, so I will work on it some other time.....*falls asleep*.....

You are quite very welcome, Staci. And now I think I might cry. I haven't cried in a long time. I do understand, seen a couple of them myself. I can't wait till you come back and draw some more amazing pictures, either. (And do take a bath... lol)
Xodiak (Sep 9, 2004)
You draw crystal, glass, water and metallic drawings so well, the lights and reflections always look very realistic. >:D
I like this lamp very much, it looks so beautifully crafted and decorated. I am amazed! >:)

That's exactly how the post (log) was in the calendar photo..I just did what I saw..can I help it if they don't know how to build a fence in Georgia?
spiritdweller (Sep 6, 2004)
Jawja... haha... my mother lived there, I tried to too... uh uh.... I loved Stone Mountain though Ya done good on this Mr. Dave
Aubrey (Sep 7, 2004)
Nice job Poppa. I like the lighthouse and the fence and things. The log does throw it off a bit but that's probably why the people for the calendar took the picture, for something different.

Aubrey (Sep 7, 2004)
lol I wasn't expecting that ending Poppa :) I like the fella playing the piano Axil. The way his hair is light on the sides and dark on all the rest reminds me of Mister Rogers.

That is my favorite description of all time. Been a while since I laughed that hard. Thanks.
