This piece definitely speaks of inner pain, it's interesting... just hope it's not anything personal to you.

your hands are beautiful. Hands are hard to draw.
Childlike_Vampire (Sep 9, 2004)
I am envious of your talent with hands. Also that is a really cool quote that I found quite inspiring. I like the red sketch lines and the messy coloring. ^__^

Wheres teh blood comin frum? ;)
Xodiak (Sep 16, 2004)
Vampires cannot be necrophiles because making love with the dead is not a perversion if you are already dead. But they can be vitaphiles or biophiles instead, meaning that they can have an erotic attraction to living people, which is of course a perversion because living people are food, not sexual partners! >;)
The blood must be coming from where the vampire bit the woman. Xod does not know where he bit her, I can only imagine! >:D

Isn't this "I love you" in sign language?
Linwe_lover_1990 (Sep 8, 2004)
yep, thats why i titled it 'i love the dark'
davincipoppalag (Sep 9, 2004)
Nice idea..I always wanted to learn to sign.. and this is a good one to learn first.
spoiledvamp27 (Sep 9, 2004)
I was so glad to see this one. I like how you incorporated sign language into this. My twin sister is deaf, so I've pretty much always known sign language. I love finding someone who actually knows that it means "I love you" in sign language, and is not just some gang symbol or something.

Reminds me of this
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 8, 2004)
I don't think those (the ones I saw) had any personality. Axil's have personality. I laugh every time I look at them.
davincipoppalag (Sep 9, 2004)
You would think that with that book of hands for a reference they would have had fingers.

This is funny... I like it because it reminds me of when my son used to eat his ice cream way too fast. :)
edit: Hey, I like v.2 as well... they are both good.
Knockoff (Sep 11, 2004)
Those are so great colors... Its almost seems icy....
Asridaein (Nov 7, 2004)
It reminds me of Bobby Drake, Iceman, from the xmen. This is a great picture, you got the expression perfect, we can all feel his agony.

"The joints of the fingers are built like shallow
saddle joints; that is, one reaches up on the sides,
the other reaches down on the front and back.
In every case it is the more distant bone that turns
on the convex end of the nearer bone, leaving the
end of the latter exposed in flextion."

Always nice to show a hand with a joint.. at least it was back in college..
Aubrey (Sep 9, 2004)
Very nice fingers Axil. The way the hands are positioned is so neat.

Hi. I am new here. Thus this is my first experiment with lascaux. It is also the first time i've used a reference of a human. Not exactly photo realistic, but I really only was experimenting. Is the only way to smudge a picture to use the blend feature on a paint brush? That'll take some getting used to!

I agree with all :) Indeed you are powerful *Puts hand over mouth to sound like Darth Vader*

very nice O_O *claps* when i saw the icon-y thing i thought it was wakka from FF10 ^^;;;;
Knockoff (Sep 8, 2004)
Wow! Thats really nice for a first time in lascaux. I've been here a little while and I can't do anything half that good. Nice, and welcome to 2draw!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 8, 2004)
Very pretty skin tones. The only thing I see that I might change would be to add more definition to the teeth. I'm not sure what you mean by "smudge", but if you continue to experiment with the Lascaux I think you'll find it's capable of doing pretty much anything you want it to... it seems to me to assimilate actual painting better than other applets. The blend tool usually works best on a low opacity, and you can also try a low flow to the paint, that might help as well. Welcome to 2draw... look forward to seeing more drawings from you.

Very nice Skippy. The smoke really has the silky smooth look to it and the lips are really nice.
davincipoppalag (Sep 8, 2004)
Good smoke..and I'm an expert on smoke (can't draw it but I breathe it all day). That word "smoke" is givin me a headache!
Knockoff (Sep 8, 2004)
Woaw! Thats pretty cool. I agree, the smoke is good. Nice coloring on the lips.
