So if I read this book, would it make me understand?

Alright.. I think I am finished. Right claw looks a bit small but oh well. I like it.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 14, 2007)
I hate these motherf!%K#$S. I get stung by at least one a year while I'm gardening, and once while I was blackpowder hunting muledeer in New Mexico last year. I was at least 7 desolate miles from the nearest human, so I could scream without abandon, which was really effective. :) The ones we have aren't deadly poisonous, they just hurt like hell. Best thing to do is say all the curse words you've ever learned (even the really stupid dorky ones you didn't say right on the playground)... and then run in the house, fill up a bowl with ice, stick the affected part in the ice till you almost have frostbite. It's the only relief you're gonna get. :D

I hope you're getting used to your tablet. :)

"Do you think I'm sexy? Do you think I'm sexy baby, ya."

This looks like sand art. For those who don't know artists take different types of sand and delicately place them in a glass bottle or container slowly creating a picture. I've seen a few and I can say it looks hard to do.
Wraith (Jun 14, 2007)
Lori, you produce dream like drawings... How do you do it?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 14, 2007)
This does somewhat resemble sandart, Barb... good call. I have some in desert scenes, really old ones... antiques that I picked up while travelling through New Mexico and Arizona. The ones I own are on tiny canvases. I like the way the sand sparkles when the sun hits them... I have them hanging in the east window where the sun rises. This would make a great sand art painting... I'd add it to my eastern bay window... but... alas... it's only here, in cyberland. :(

I haven't eaten in like two days, and I finally cooked some tacos with little green onions and I keep burping up the little green onions, for like an HOUR now.

this past Thursday night... there's a place to park your cattle trailer, a place to park your Harley, a place to tie up your horse, even and it's a good place to get into trouble. I am in SOOOOOOOO much trouble from this night that I may never get out of trouble, but it was worth it. :D yahoo photos is going away for some reason, so i had to learn how to use a NEW THING... how annoying, i'm stil trying to put more...

I was just looking at that water and those two waves and kept seeing straight hard lines and shoddy blending and had to fix it before it drove me mad. Glad I still had some space left, I hope this looks better now.
Anna (May 25, 2007)
You totally nailed our water! This is so perfect!
Kayos (Jun 13, 2007)
WOW! Im suprised I never saw this on here till now.. You did a superb job on this. Waves are so hard to pull off and look real, and you did spectacularly. I think the thing I like best about it, is the non-burning yellow light typicly on a beach picture. This has the feel of a layer of fog or overcast. * runs from the sun for feer of another 3rd degree burn day.. shuttter* And I always prefer the beach when its like this, and not blearing sun murdering your skin. ;)

what a wonderful mood in this one. The silhouette's hair looks kinda stiff compared to its shadow. I love whatever medium you used tho. (watercolor?)

Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright. One of my favorite songs. Works well with this piece.
