thanks all,, this was meant to look like pencil on ingres paper... I know I do lots of stuff, but I really want to grad hold of digital art by the scruff of the neck, so im just tryng to be as creative as I can. I may even use some of my images here towards an exhibition of Digital versus Analogue Art that I am showing in July this year....
Miss_DJ (Mar 24, 2007)
I really like this Chris! It's rich in emotion.
Sweetcell (Mar 24, 2007)
Nice and sketchy, nice and blue. Pretty wings there.
KuteDymples (Mar 26, 2007)
Nice patina effect on this one. Reminds me of one in a beautiful garden somewhere. Very nice!

I would love to get "some", if only I didn't have to worry about paper cuts. Great 40's style pin-up.
ranger90039 (Mar 21, 2007)
thanks, the finished paintings on my website if you want to check it out
KuteDymples (Mar 25, 2007)
This is awesome! I have checked out your website and have it saved in my favs....FANTICTICAL! Thanks for commenting on my draw. I feel very inept compared to your gals! You are an awesome artist.

Happy St. Patricks Day! <3

Hmm, this is different from me. I kinda like it though. I forgot to delete one of the layers I don't need. I'm so retarded. If you can see that, I'm sorry. Maybe I'll fix it later.

Alexis: Well gee. What's your problem? Oh yeah, I forgot, you aren't Irish, haha. If you were Irish, you should always feel green :D

Cindy: Really? I probably never would have guessed that you are Irish. You're right, I'm not retarded, I just act like it sometimes. I like being in the sun, especially on days when it is actually warm out, like these past few days <3
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 24, 2007)
Yeah... descendant of a bunch of wild Irish cowboys on both sides of my family... got documents if you want to see them. lol :D I just wish your little "green girl" weren't covered with stitches, and that she was smiling. The Irish are usually smiling, you know. :)
NOVEMBER93 (Mar 24, 2007)
Yeah, when I sumitted this picture, I regreted not "undo-ing" them. I'm not too happy with it. Now that you mention it, this picture probably would look better with a smile :D

It looks so simple but is so pretty. Reminds me of this spacial barrier the original Enterprise was forced to pass through by some aliens who took over the ship and turned most of the crew into cubes of salt. (yes, I am a geek)

I meant to add, all you need do is add a small Enterprise and it'd be exactly that. I'll shut up now. ;)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 22, 2007)
Breathtaking (I would say more, but I'm out of breath :)
cmb (Mar 23, 2007)
I love it, galactic barrier, sunset and aurora all melded together!
Miss_DJ (edited Mar 24, 2007)

That's pretty. I like the warm reflections, very nice.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Mar 22, 2007)
This is so wonderful... I don't know if the perspective is right, I don't really care if it is or not. I love the pink clouds and it makes me dizzy(er). :)
elly (Mar 23, 2007)
Thank you, Klox and DBA. I got the perspective as close as I could. It was a very challenging angle for sure! Glad u like it =)

Betcha his breath smells like Gerber Dutch Apple dessert. I loved that stuff... I would always buy two... one for the baby, one for me. :) So pretty, Lori...I like that I can see the brush strokes. Great painting, here.

YES. I know that it is a shadow and not a reflection, thank u....but ya know...the title reflections just sounded better. But there, I changed it. Are we all happy now? Lol.

Cool. I still love blowing these and making wishes. It's especially fun to blow them in the direction of manicured lawns and golf courses.

Yumiiiiiiiii~!!! X3 *hughughug*
Of course I remember you!! >:0

haha glad to see you joined 2draw!!
Miharashi (Mar 21, 2007)
ummm if you dont mind helpful criticism, I think the head is much too wide for the body, the right arm (or left, depending on how you look at it =P) is a little weird, anatomically (elbow is a bit off pivit from the joint and the tenden(sp?) would be smashed) and one sleeve is too long for the other. But I love the folds around the collar, the waist, and the breasts-simple yet effective ^^ very nice. Gotta love the face. =D
Maiko (Mar 22, 2007)
haha I don't mind, but I'm not changing this :B

loss of the desire to impress

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 21, 2007)
More than likely the loss of that desire is due to the fact that you've impressed so many for so long that you just got bored with that aspect of it. If your work were any more impressive on a regular basis, people around here would probably start sucking on your toes instead of just kissing your feet. Your work won't suffer from the loss of that... your best art shows when you just feel something and your expression shows in a painting.

I lost that desire a long time ago, but I'll still paint.
solve (Mar 21, 2007)
You not impressing would be a change. Minus those fun time doodles you do (but those dont count). Oscar said so.
Punky (Mar 21, 2007)
But his fun time doodles are so funny. :)

I really like her face.
Miss_DJ (Mar 22, 2007)
she's very pretty, even with the doodles.
