Diggin' this. :}

Wonderful lineart, beautiful coloring. It's like an ancient Indian Shaman who sacrificed himself for the sake of his village and was turned into a tree. This get's my imaginative juices flowing. The glow is soft and mystical.

Don't know why people didnt' comment more on this one. It's gorgeous

Cimry (Sep 30, 2006)
This is fantastic... I feel a compelling need to point out the brick wall! It looks great

I really love your coloring. This reminds me of a Hayao Miyazaki movie. :3

This is a great drawing! I really love the girls hair and expression. The feeling of needing to be held is expressed very well! Great drawing. :)

oooooo amazing. I'm always so jealous of well-done clouds.
Cimry (Sep 30, 2006)
I love the white little tuft on the left of the cloud. Looks so real!
DMV (Oct 2, 2006)
your very good @ doing these types of drawings.
elly (Oct 3, 2006)
Thanks all and thank you DMV. They come quite easy for me.....can't say that about the human figure or portrait though!! It's so hard to really capture a true, realistic looking figure! I'll keep working on it though. In the mean time, I'm sure I'll do plenty more land/sea/sky scapes! (among other goodies as well =)

There are a certain number of individual distinctive faces here. How many can you find? I'll give the answer some time soon......good luck!

The creation process seemed really chaotic at the beginning, it was in your head before you draw ?
Dr.Snoopy (Oct 1, 2006)
That's why I love to paint digitally, you can repaint the whole picture in no time.
It's like modeling with clay. You shape the whole thing very fast.

Cool drawing.
IkariIreuL (edited Oct 1, 2006)
Oh you already answer that in here http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/77382/
Punky (Oct 1, 2006)
Your animations are always cool to watch. Its neat to see how you draw this stuff. :)

This looks like me with a migraine.

nice-though I dont like cherries myself. Some shine on the skin might enhance the realism.
davincipoppalag (Sep 28, 2006)
Yea some more highlights would make this better Jana.. I like it though!

ty....Poppa i always accept your pointers :)
davincipoppalag (Sep 29, 2006)
I wish I knew more about what to tell you.. I kinda wing it..(obviously) you should ask one of the figure people what it needs...
Sweetcell (Sep 30, 2006)
It's good, the nose however shouldn't be so broad. We're looking at her from a quarter view so we'd only see her right nostril and the tip of her nose sweeping up towards her brow and connecting to her left eyebrow. Make her eyes smaller and closer together, they're too far apart. Her left eye would be smaller because the nose ridge sweeping up to the brow would show it farther away. And the upper lip would be smaller than the lower lip. As well we should see more of her left cheeckbone. The eyes need to be lowered a touch as well. You have the basics of the body you just need to make the shoulder a little broader thicken the arms a little. I hope you don't take this as a critique just as a means to help. You definately know some anatomy now all you need is to practice and learn how to pull it together. Look at as many refs as you can to know the structure of the human form.
Shortiebop (Oct 1, 2006)
no...thank you all pointers are accepted :)
