Dearest Mother,Words cannot describe what I have seen these last couple of weeks. I wish nothing more than to return home and escape from this horrible place. I pray every night, alone in my foxhole, hoping that by some miracle the war will end tomorrow. But they keep pushing us forward, forever forward. Our CO reassures us that we'll be home for Christmas. I want to believe him, but I just can't. Berlin is still so very far away, I don't know if I can live through another day, let alone a couple of months. Your letters and the thought of returning home are the only things keeping me going. God, I miss you so much. Your loving son, Jim.

this is my 3rd drawing please give me some tips
p3ndragon (Oct 11, 2004)
You may want to use tools other than the line tool. Although it is very neat, it doesn't really take much. Try using tones of grey to color them and define shadow. Also, try using different shades of blue in the sky. Look at other pictures and try and figure out what makes them look good and try to apply it to your picture. I myself am not amazing, but you can memo me for help.
emerald_star18 (Oct 12, 2004)
Looks like something you can do on MSPaint, try playing with some of the other tools, they can create cool effects.
saconi (Oct 16, 2004)

Sometimes I impress myself. In the span of one week I have learned how to play the Sonic The Hedgehog song “Casino Night” on the piano. I listened to the piano version of the song on vgmusic.com and figured out how to play it. Perfectly, I might add. And that is why I creamed in my pants. Because it’s an awesome song, and I now know how to play it. A special thanks to the 2draw members who introduced me to vgmusic.com.Maybe if I can figure out how to hook my keyboard up to my computer I’ll make a recording of it and post it on a new picture or something. If anyone cares. Which you probably don't. Sorry moderators. Didn't think it was explicit enough to warrant an 18+ rating. But I suppose you get the final call.
spiritdweller (Nov 24, 2004)
lolll... I'd like to hear it, my son loves Sonic, maybe I'll learn it too... if I creamed my pants every time I learned a new song though... I don't think I could function very well... I like this drawing
Alex-Cooper (Nov 24, 2004)
Hey folks. I'm glad you all like it. But unfortunately, I found out tonight that my keyboard is too old, and is not compatible with my computer. So if I ever do get it recorded I'm going to have to do it over my friend’s house, in his recording studio. That will probably be in a couple of weeks, ‘cause I rarely ever see him. Oh well. And funny, spiritdweller. I'm just psyched that I’ve learned something new because I haven't played in such a long time. You can only play the same Bright Eyes songs and Radiohead songs before you get tired of them. And I wouldn't want that to happen.I agree with you Marcello. That’s what I originally rated it. I remember being thirteen and making jokes about how the football team was having anal sex with one another after a good game. So I doubt the idea of ejaculating would warp a thirteen yearolds fragile mind. But apparently someone disagrees. No big deal. It just gives me a chance to write really long winded comments under my pictures. Must remember to keep it short.
Zack (Nov 24, 2004)
Your ardor for keyboard has inspired me to start practicing and trying to get better at reading music again. Thanks, man. Funny pic, too.The best way I've to record from keyboard to computer is via a cord from the keyboard's headphone jack to the soundcard's line-in jack. Might need a 1/4th to 1/8th mini adapter for the keyboard. If your friend has a recording studio, though, well shoot. Also, I found my songbook for Whatever and Ever Amen. I could scan some stuff in, if you want. Got my copy off eBay if you're looking for the real deal.
Turtlebuster (edited Nov 24, 2004)
as a fellow musician i understand completely. when i figured out the piano version of Xenogear's 'world map" theme i felt exactly the same. it rolls along tremendously and allows for some brilliant emotion. the sonic song is cool too. i probably lack the nostalgic connection to it that u do loledit: and post your recording plz, i'd love to hear it. if i could figure out how to make my guitar studio software work, i'd be recording stuff on my own computer.. but alas... |

A place that only exists in my mind... and a world that's far away...
davincipoppalag (Sep 25, 2004)
Ya did it again CP..Nice. That sunflower face looks almost as if it could be a being in the next dimension looking into this one from a hole in the fabric..very cool!
Cordelia_Pink (Sep 25, 2004)
thanks. lol hey you know what, that sunflower face looks almost like my face though. lmao just kidding. it's a lonely sunflower actually. why? because it's different from all other sunflowers. it's tired of being considered the 'happy' flower (since it's so yellow and bright), that's why it's frowning. hehe
pulmonq2 (Nov 24, 2004)
To me, Deadly, the focal point is more the eye/boat than the sunflower, or even the tree really, being the dominant form. Christy, this is probably about my favorite that you've done. The colors, I guess. The way you mix them is unique and yes, as Iwonder said, vibrant. The strongest parts are obviously the tree trunk, and the grass and rocks around it. Rich tones and I like the way you texturize by using thin brushes and going over the same area in different colors (lights and darks). Good details there in the grass and tree trunk. The sun's face looks like the sun stones I've seen on certain structures. Good work.
Knockoff (Nov 24, 2004)
Ohh. Thats very cool. I love the tree, and all the detail. Awesome! |

If you're gonna go, go out with a BANG! I say! :D Another attempt at Kiba realistic, more realistic this time. Heehee...*dances* rain, get it? Wolf's rain? erm..n/m. Also I know about the shoulders, the angle was hard to work with but I was too lazy to fix. I think the quality of the rain and his face makes up for the most part. :)
EverDream (Aug 26, 2004)
Friend:*thinks* The titles? I guess I name the work based on what ever mood I'm in or what ever mood the pic might suggest...I think...*shrugs* Any way thanks! :D

Cordelia_Pink (Nov 24, 2004)
This makes me think of Final Fantasy. This is almost like the animation in that movie. It just looks so realistic. The hair is great. :)
