Congratulations TheCrimsonKing (Joe), "Ashley Judd" is awarded first place for Contest Week 49: Hollywood Animals. This is a classic CK piece, it screams his style. I think many of us on 2Draw have come to expect CK's work to be clean, professional and precise, this piece is certainly a great example of those qualities. Her face is so well drawn, it's definitely recognizable as Ashely Judd. And this piece is so cool, I think Childlike Vampire's comment says it best "She looks like wolverines kid or something". The Wolverine like hair is very cool, as well the elongated neck, she is indeed a very attractive cat lady. Well done Joe.

I didn't intend to labor over this one. It's done now. It's more of a study piece of solar flares. The reference pic can be found here.Critique/Criticism will be used next time I attempt another solar flare study. Maybe next time I'll learn to make it look sharper.

This is the first tuturial of anything I have ever made. It's help on how to understand what layers ARE and how I tend to use them to help my drawing. I think it's pretty self explanatory, lol.Okie dokie. I made this to visualize more what people try to describe. I am not very good at explaining things consicely, and people tend to lose interest when I try. So here you go, hope this helps someone!

I hope the blonde isn't the one explaining this. ;) I wish something like this had been here when I stumbled into this place. Then again, I probably wouldn't have gone to see, anyway. One Christmas Eve I was racing daylight because I put my son's tricycle together with the handlebars on backwards because I hate reading instructions. :)

Just a childlike drawing. Easter really is a shitty holiday. Christmas and Easter are the days that the churches fill up--those people seem to be really dedicated. If you want to believe that a womyn was made from a man's rib bone--that's your buisness. Just don't make me celebrate your shitty pastel-colored holiday. i've read both the new and old testament--so i know 'The Bible' and if you want to believe the sick stuff in there--fine. Just quit making me feel like an ass because i don't believe smashing a childs head with a rock should make me feel "happy". My current annoyance.

It actually took more than 16 minutes, it's just that I accidentaly closed the image at one point. Thank god I got it back.Anyway, it's been years since I've drawn with the mouse, im just getting my sea legs back. Just a request a friend of mine made.
