Some bad vibes are flowin through here. Better open a window to get some air circulationi'm not gunna do anythin with this, you can move it to beginner.
Caddris (Apr 23, 2005)
This looks great. I love skecthes and this one is one of the best I've seen. It's full of so much raw emotion. Great! ^.^
Northern_shadow (Apr 23, 2005)
this would look good with "painting" style
HunterKiller_ (Apr 24, 2005)
Excellent pose. I don't know what style of colour you should put on it... i guess shadow's suggestion is good, a grungy paint look.
PS (Apr 24, 2005)
he looks very upset, but you did a great job showing the emotion in this drawing |

My first black and white image...
Caddris (Apr 23, 2005)
This is awesome! It definitely looks like Depp, which is a heck of a lot more than I can say about the portraits I draw. They never look like who they are supposed to. . . ANYway, great job! ^____^
emmamommalag (Apr 23, 2005)
The mouth is especially good. Nice pic.
Punky (Apr 23, 2005)

This is my take on a photo of a busy Mexican marketplace. Just felt like doin something fun.
starmarked (Jul 8, 2005)
Very nice Aubrey, I don't know how I missed seeing this one. It really does look like a photo that was taken using a slow shutter speed in a fast paced market. This reminds me of something you would see in National Geographic or in the Smithsonian magazine :]
darkshadow (Sep 27, 2005)
wow this is wonderful great job
Suntan (Aug 14, 2010)
This is just unbelieveable, Aubrey...it's been so long since you were here.

it's very good.but I just wonder why some things are chosen for show case, and other artists who are also incredibly good, are never chosen. What's the criteria, anyhow?I thought for a long time,it was just photographic perfection, but this one is not.so is it polish?finished quality?style?professionalism?hard to tell what the show case people are thinking, but then again,I could never tell why the Academy Awards were chosen the way they were, too.
Wraith (edited Jul 7, 2011)
@ Dorothyblueeyes Yeah.. Think of it as the Grammy awards.

Who do I gotta kiss to get a damn glass of water around here!
Caddris (edited Apr 21, 2005)
Nifty. For some reason it reminds me of the song "Inner Universe" by Yoko Kanno. Very dynamic piece. |

This is Machiavelli. He's the shark I am dissecting in first year biology lab. The poor guy doesn't have any skin now.Maciavelli is a male spiny dogfish (Squalus acanthias), member of the phylum chordata and class chondrichthyes. Reference used: Pictoral Anatomy of the Dogfish, Stephen G. Gilbert, 1973. Just a few touch ups.
Xodiak (Apr 21, 2005)
After you dissect him, will you cook him too? I like seafood. <:)|XOD|
Caddris (Apr 21, 2005)
Actually, I find myself wondering what shark tastes like. But they've been preserved in formaldehyde. . . I'm not too keen on finding out how that tastes. :]
Xodiak (Apr 22, 2005)
Formaldehyde must not taste very good, I think it is a carcinogen poison. I think it exists in cigarettes too. >:)|XOD| |
