Another sad attempt at realism. I didn't use a ref, which might be one of the reasons it why it looks weird. |

Since I gots a tablet I decided to try realism... D:@___@ what do you guys think so far? any advice on how to do hair?

I think it's a pretty good start, particularly since I have no luck whatever on faces. The nose looks a bit too wide? I can't help you with Shi-Painter.. don't know how to use that.it's kinda hard to tell, but she is wearing her hood up. c&c please! :D

I couldn't say Bunny without a ref to look at. There are better people here who are experts at realism portraits so I have no right to say. I do have to say though, and this is eerie, it looks a little like me <8O |

The lineart is wonderful. Xiau said it best, the tablet (pen) takes some getting used to. The way it feels as opposed to a real pen or brush and if it's wireless you have to contend with the weight of the battery and having to stay within the reach of the tablet but after you get used to it you'll wonder how you did anything with a mouse. Hope to see this painted soon. |
